Thus adding more to the post by Loam. I also believe that this is a masterfully played performance by all parts and that a 'New' cold war will come into play. The 'War on Terror' is losing steam and won't last the 100+ years that the conservatives were trying to brainwash people into believing. Both sides need another cold war.

Now if we can have another pilot TV series to foreshadow the 'New Cold War' and we will be good.

I won't deny that things are getting tense, but remember that even during a 50-year cold war, the US and Russia never once directly engaged. Yes they fought proxy wars, but they were never officially at war. It's all still posturing.

Maybe so, but during those 50 years you didn't have the GW Bush admin running things. There were relatively smarter people at the helm back then. What makes you think your current Pres. wouldn't go to war with Russia when going to war is all he has done since he took office?
He/they seemed obsessed with it IMHO.
