Why do I have to back this up??? This is the story that I found on a website where it gave this youtube link.

I am not saying this is 100% proof. I posted here to see what you guys think of this.

And I never said this is aliens in the title. The title is made to the poing somthing attacked a UFO.

UFO( unidentified flying object) Please point to me in my title where I said aleins or even greys or reptilians.


I am sorry for the poor video footage. If you were expecting movie shot angles close up pictures then I guess your looking for the next hollywood new blockbuster.

This footage is from a NASA satilight. If you expect me to give you a close up hd shot of a ufo and aliens and dark vader then sorry to fail you since I didn't recall trying to make a movie thread.

I seriously to those of you that question and compalined to me about the video footage that you can't see crap I would seriously would like you to to create your own satilight with a camera on it and capture your own footage you will then find out how hard it is to get a close up view of any craft.

This is not footage that I have made or anything. I saw a website article with the story I gave above with a link to this video and just telling it here.

If you bealive it then fine if not then thats ok, but to personally attack me and asking me to provide proof and expect me to have some movie quality footage of an alien or a ufo then sorry to mislead you.

I would suggest you keep an eye on hollywood for their next alien blockbuster that should be what type of footage your looking for .

. Those are obviously something natural, they have been in NASA footage to often to be anything else. If NASA is trying to hide something, they aren't doing a good job or there is nothing to those light anomalies.

Since when do light anomalies go zipping across the upper-atmosphere of any planet?

I've never seen a light anomaly "fire" anything closely resembling a weapon either...

Your talking about the meteors that are zipping across the sky. I'm talking about the two supposed UFO's.

No you opened up a thread stating "Nasa footage on aug 11th 2008 ufo being attacked by U.S military in Orbit". I am asking for proof that this is what this is. Also if they are shooting at UFO's, someone better tall them that those are lens flare. Where the hell are these supposed "plasma beams" being shot from anyways, if thats what they are. I am pretty damn certain those are just meteors..zipping across the sky.

Techsnow/Riggs I don't see how you could put those small lights down to meteorites. They clearly accellerate, and the one at 1:38 comes into frame does a U-turn and exits out the same side.
EDIT: Same question to Riggs what do you say about the motion? meteorites?

Also I would like to know how you are so certain they are lens flares, I am not a camera expert so more detail on this would be appreciated.

In my opinion, the only thing that this video shows are 2 meteors entering the atmosphere, and perhaps a sattelite.Until it is proven otherwise there is absolutley no evidence our government was attacking an alien space craft and the people or persons who posted this video are doing nothing but adding to the already notorious nature of the UFO conspiracy folks. It is incredibly irresponsible of the OP to sensationalize an incident of this nature. Thanks again whoever you are for making an incredibly stupid suggestion and having the willingness to state "facts" that you have absolutley no evidence to back up. People like this guy make the entire community of genuine researchers look like fools. Good job.

I am saying its possible that it could be a meteor shower since none of the projectiles seem to change direction.

Now answer me this, are the UFO's in question those translucent discs that seem to manifest themselves in so many other NASA videos (tether incident being one) ? If they are then I am going to say lens flair in this video (although I can't say the same for the Tether incident) the fact that they stay with the camera the whole time is strange

ok for those who are not experts on what are lens flares or want to learn more about it I found many sites on it that would explain and show some examples.

This is an old video ... youtube added date is '06 ... it is not 08'

however ... at 1:41 (top right hand edge of screen) one of the objects changes direction.

It comes in from right to left and then reverses to move left to right.

I hadn't noticed this before.

Any explanations for this?

Are you sure it's the same object and not just another satellite in a different orbit. I believe there are approximately 3000 Satellites in space.

GReat find OP, I've seen several STS videos from high orbit from the space shuttle, and the zooming in and light refraction looks very accurate, the audio is missing, as some have a female narrator telling us what we see (or not, depending..

OK WTH are those two translucent discs If they are an object then they are stationary, and now that I review the video, the camera moves toward those objects, they aren't in the same position.

But if they aren't a lens flairs then that means they are objects...

I wonder what David Sereda would have to say about this video.

wow. So every thread on ATS has to have proof in order to be on ATS???

So your asking me to try and find the guy that claims this then take a visit to NASA ask them if this is legit and all and then come back and post every detail information if this is fact or a fake.

I don't know I posted this to show somthing I thought was current, notice here post stating it's 06 not 08. I don't know this but I just passed what I saw/ heard on the internet on here.

I am not saying this is real or fake but passing what I was told so you can decide.

But all I have to say your asking too much. I mean come on. If I asked someone prove to me that AREA51 is real, should I be asking those people who claim area51 is real to go inside the base take pictures and grab gov docs and the post it here on ATS would allow the guy to post a fourm about area51???

What your asking me is proof. How can I prove this ??? If I myself don't work at NASA and Don't know the original source or anything.

Well just wanted to say sorry for knowing it's a 1991 event onboard of a space shuttle.


if you looked on the link where I got the video and click the more info you can see whate the guy that uploaded the video said.

So I just wanted to show you guys of a video I for one never saw.

I have seen other orbit footage which Nasa has claimed to the public after review that it's chunks off the space shuttle well the foam blocks ect.Also ice off the shuttle ect debries.

have you read many post fourms on ATS??? I have recently seen a fourm that said Planets are fake. NASA lied about planets.

He then goes explaing that the moon is god.

Yet you say I just damage the image of all ATS???


Trust me even if I did do damage I didn't do as much as some others here on ATS.

like the one that Planets don't exist NASA lies about planets.

He is giving random explanaitons saying we only see space in a 2d view so how do we know planets are round shaped???

Just going to twist up the notch on wierd here. These are seen in other NASA videos, they are similar to the teather objects but actually look much more like the objects that are seen in the sts-80 link i posted before. While it is possible that these are lens flares that explaination does not gel with similar objects in other NASA films.

So lets say these are objects:
At 1:38 a small bright object enters the screen from the right
At 1:42 it changes direction RIGHT at the edge of the disk shape
It then exits.
Unfortunately the video is cut just before it is about to be impacted again by another two objects dissappointing...

So do lens flares reflect debris or other UFO's? Could be conincidence but that still dosen't explain why it turned. Riggs I dont except your explaination that it was two satellites the object never dissappears.

hey man, no need to apologize, i was just pointing out that maybe, this new viral wave of the video had been reformatted as disinfo, as usual in "real cases" maybe the video is real, and the info false, maybe the info is real the video false


as you said, several SS videos look the same, i do not believe what we are looking at is just ice, or meteors, btw, the translucent like objects, look exactly like lens flares , or condensation on the lens...??

but even better when seen from the ground.
