Because parenoid behavior isnt proof of anything. Any anyone specifically you can point to and say... yeah that's the government.

Futhermore someone said something about bigger agencies than NSA or CIA.
Are you referring to the FBI.. or some sort of secret branch of the government that we dont know about?

If you were a disinfo agent out there trying to dissuade the pursuit of dangerous topics, would it make sense, in any way, to reveal that you are doing it? Isnt that exactly what knocking on someones door would do?

It is public knowledge that the communication in this country is monitored. Heck, until fairl recently, there was a database that literally stroed a copy of every single web page visited.

You cant prove either way that they are or arent here, but i think it is pretyt naive, given the route this country is going, to deny that it is a VERY strong possibility.

Isn't the mantra around here something like....DENY IGNORANCE

Please? Seriously? The FBI? They couldnt handle that kind of #! They are too busy chasing fake terrorist. Yes some super secret agency of some kind that no one has heard of and everyone that works there never existed.

Of course they read all of these threads !
If fact, one third of the people on this forum are Government spies, and another third are all extra-terrestrials !
You can never be too safe. I always wear my aluminum foil hat in the house so they can't read my thoughts.
When I go outside, I wear my lead lined, Reticulated Yak skin cap over my aluminum hat for extra protection.

Dude, who let you out of your rubber house? Seriously, that is a little too paranoid. Dont you think that they have advanced and probably reversed that effect making it to where they can control your mind with the so called 'protective' aluminum foil hat.

It would be one thing to monitor webpages, etc... but for agents to actively post disinformation on websites worldwide is another. The reason I say this.. there is so much bogus information here and elsewhere, ppl dont know whats true or not anyways. and so much info has been leaked (true or not). There are enough doubters to debunk questionable information in general... They dont have to be agents to be skeptics of any unproven subject matter.

Keep I mind I do NOT doubt that this site, and many other sites are being monitored, but do ya really think agents are in here mixin it up with the crazy ppl?

What I was curious to know is if anyone has been contacted by the man about anything they've posted. That would be proof.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if this site were monitored by the higher ups, tracked ip's of some big users, who knows, the internet is a total gateway to surveillance...

I am absolutely certain there are people here with a specific job of spreading disinfo. Like I said... There are some people who are so disdainful, and ignore bullet-proof comments, while attacking any speculation as if the original poster gave it as fact - and there are the same patterns in attack by many of the same posters.

That logic often is lost on these posters (who sound as if they should be rational) leaves me with a list of posters I must suspect (no, I am not naming a one of them; that is between me and them).

As for whether I have been messed with... There have been little things that make me wonder, but nothing I could say for sure - except an event that took place back in the days when the internet was running at a whopping 300 baud. LONG time ago, and it had more to do with several factors having nothing to do with the internet.

I hate to brag guys but I am a CIA asset. We monitor you all the time
In all seriousness doesn't the NSA have Echelon? So that probably monitors keywords and what not.

Interesting thread!

I think all electronic communications are monitored all the time, if they pass over anything resembling a public network (telephone, internet, even mobile communications between two portable radios).

There is a reason there is a legal limit on the range of wireless devices, too.
In the UK, it's 2 miles. They wouldn't want you using something they couldn't monitor, would they?

I can't find it now, but the UK wants to make it mandatory for ISPs to store web history for a year, and to make all e-mail communications available to LOCAL COUNCILS (?!). Time to break out those encryption keys.

Well if anyone noticed, you can look at the bottom of the thread and see who is monitoring this thread. Anyone of those guys could be a government official of some kind

No, I havent yet, and I have tried and tried to say some of the most outrageous and volatile( illegal) things on this sit as part of my agenda. I have stated that I was involved in activities that are in violation of federal laws and advocated criminal acts against various politicians and police agencies. NOTHING., So I think it is possible that our sense of importance is a bit exaggerated. I dont expect to ever see an agent of DOHS,or any other Fed knocking on my door.

Your question is very valid. if you give into the notion, paranoia sets, which is exactly where it leads you, a vicious cycle. I'ts amazing what a Cray computer can do. I loved an old phase we used "tell them what they want to hear and do what you want". The federal statutes SAY we don't spy on our own' yea. Remember if your not cheating your not trying, if you get caught you weren't trying hard enough!" Good luck
