I along time ago read about the Philadelphia project, and had watched a video of someone who said that they had changed their soul from one body to the body of a younger man, in fact I think they said this happened twice. I am very curious to this after having a playful conversation with my mother , who is 77 . My father passed away last year at the age of 79.
Well what I asked her is if she could awaken with the body of a 20 year old would she do it, for instance if the soul could be transferred into say the body of someone who died of hypothermia, and the brain was still intact, in other words that persons soul had moved on, would she do it. her answer at first was that she didnt want to think about it, but I coaxed her into an answer and she said not without dad being here. So I countered and asked her if when dad was dying if they could of done the same for him would she of allowed it, she said yes as a way to spend more time with him. Then we got into the relationship aspect of it, the 20 year old man who was in love with the 77 year old woman, is there anyway that they could of made it work out, and her answer then was that it would be hard, because of the difference in their age and that he probably would have left her for a younger woman. I am thinking about writing a fictional short story about this, but I think it was already done in the stephen king book "golden years" but in a different way, they regressed the older man with chemicals.

anyways I would like to have some actual responses from anyone who has heard of the case involving the Philadelphia experiment as far as body changing and any other thoughts about what the ramifications would be if it could actually happen, as far as how others would react, the actual person involved, and about the 50 year old love relationship being held together, any ideas please post

thankyou

Personally, I think that this would have been a severely senstive subject to 'coax' out of a woman who had only last year lost the man she loved.

But, youth should always be something that mankind strives for.

Eternal youth = immortality, right? If this exists already, it's probably been used to keep the greediest, worst people that ever existed, alive for many generations. Think the ORIGINAL world bankers, who's children would have had to inherit the power of the world when they passed.

also I really didn't coax as you say,
we just talked about it,
anyways still waiting on someone who knows something about the subject

I would think that getting into a younger body would be nice to some extent. However, just think of all the people you know dying and you are left alone. Ofcourse you can keep on making new friends and they will also die and on and on. That would surely take a toll on anyone. I would think that it just might harden the person to an extent that he will really not care about any one from then on. Like being indifferent to anyone or anything which would be quite sad I believe.

I recall there being some movie about some guy who was frozen or whatever.

But, from my own bizarre memories, I've seen this and witnessed it myself. There may actually be an elite group who know about this. It might be under some code name such as the phoenix project or similar. There may even be a price that some pay, but, may have to live under servitude for it also. Some might say these people in control are like the Jinn.

I've had my thoughts about my parents being young again such as in their 20's and the car they used to date in. It seems romantic anyway.

The idea of them being young and myself being their little kid again isn't so entertaining though.

Wow. She is mournign the death of her partner and that came up? Leaving her for a younger woman?

That is just bizarre beyond words.

Didn't they transferred a soul to one of the men who was involved with the Montauk Project?

I think it is possible to transfer/contain a soul. I also feel that the soul has it's own natural progression. When it is done on Earth's plane...that's it and it's time for that soul energy to move on or do what ever it does when the body dies.

Interesting idea for a novel.

The idea of voluntary servitude for exchange

That is why I started this thread the ideas from everyone are so awesome and thought provoking.

seeing the end of the world would become a for sure thing!
when some people die , like when my dad passed, I felt in a way
happy that He didn't have to see the end of our world or the beginning of
a new world war or order,
that by dying from natural causes in his sleep
he was saved from that peril

I know that is a crazy thought , but I swear I feel like God is slowly taking people to protect them from what soon will be coming to us

I also tend to believe that the soul will move on its own, in its own natural progression, either to a nonphysical reality or another physical go around after the physical death. To "transfer" this soul prior to death doesn't make sense to me--I think once you've claimed your physical vehicle for this lifetime, you're bound and obligated to it. Transferring to another body, say, in this case, to live longer, is essentially a fruitless endeavor and entirely unnecessary--if you didn't gain what you needed out of this physical lifetime, you'll simply come back ("transfer") again.

well i would, i need a working body anyways; even if im not old. only because if you can; it must mean it was meant to happen or it was allowed to happen.

Hermes Trismegistus/Thoth is suppose to have done this. If I could have my own younger body, say a clone. I would do it.

warning - highly subjective material ahead!

In my opinion - even if it is possible (could be) ,person will not receive a new body. Soul will. Memories ,experiences, neural wiring, hormonal levels that make our "current" personality will remain with previous body. No one will remember being X or Y. I see soul as combination of good vs bad choices perspective based on previous "experience". Universal good and bad. Of course, could be wrong and there is no proof.

if it were your clone or even android body and memory transfer technology existed, such limitation could be overcome.

I don't think so. I think the soul is bound to the body it inhabits in such a fundamental way, that technology can't simply overcome that.

if thats true, ok but lets say god or whatever intended for us to create such technology?

Well, it's not so much a matter of going against God's will or anything, I just think it sort of defeats the purpose of a soul claiming a body. You experience the natural cycle and timespan of the physical body, and that's all part of the physical experience. I just don't see the need to transfer between one body and another when this happens (as I believe) naturally anyway...after you've spent your lifetime in one physical form.

The supposed goal in transferring bodies is an inherently physical one--to prolong physical life. There is no need to do this if you believe in reincarnation and starting fresh each time.

most of the material that i have read over the years suggests that when you die your memories of this lifetime are erased or put deep into a sub conscience area that only provides an intuition or feeling towards things in our new lives, hence when you die and are reborn you have no intellectual base left which to use when you are a new child, but are forced to relearn everything in the more modern period of time, this is why History repeats itself, this is only my theory not one from a book, we physically forget about the calamities that claimed our lives from before, time isn't an issue, we can be reincarnated right next to our ownselves even before death, ie we could be working or know our own self, or everyone around us could potentially be just past or future versions of our own self, our own reflective pond of colliding selves trying to survive inside of a bubble.
