The Arkansas Democratic Party chairman was hospitalized following a shooting incident Wednesday at the party’s headquarters in Little Rock, according to The Associated Press.

A TV report said three shots were fired.

The suspect has been shot or arrested according to preliminary reports. 3 shots fired.

Gunman: Black male, khaki pants, blue pick-up. Demanded to talk to the chairman.

Why did you change the description from white to black?

I was writing as the newscast on Fox was putting out info. I was posting this in real time. Obviously, info is still sketchy.

This is not good considering that another Arkansas town is currently under martial law. I wonder what the motives were behind this? I am willing to bet the media will relate it to Obama some how and use it to spread anti-second amendment sentiments.

Ps: It looks bad on you to keep making one line posts when nobody else (other than anonymous) has replied. People usually do this to unfairly keep their thread at the top of the list.

like I said, I was posting as the info was coming out. I dont know how someone can submit "breaking news" without this happening. Thanks for the input though. I agree with what you are saying regarding Arkansas. I forgot this was occurring at the same time. Time will tell.

The media will jump all over it as politically motivated and will use it against conservatives and indeed, to push their anti-2nd amendment agenda. Par for the course. For the record, the guy is a Hillary superdelegate, not one of Obama's.

He is also a prominent Little Rock businessman and is the CEO of Gwatney Chevrolet in Jacksonville. I thought he owned it, but checking again, it appears to be owned another member of his family.

The culprit has been shot and killed. This will prevent his side of the story from coming out. Does anyone think there is a potential conspiracy here? Lots of strangeness happening as of late.

Yeah it is looking very fishy right now. Vor78 you mentioned this man is a Hillary super delegate. I wouldn't be surprised if he pissed off the Clintons and was murdered for it.

I like how it went from a 40 year old white guy to a black guy. Do we know yet who/what the shooter was? For all we know now is the shooter was a 7 foot tall asian woman using ninja stars with what you've posted.

So yeah, he's dead, and so is the Assassin.

I suspect that the party headquarters had a sign on the door that prohibited the carrying of concealed firearms. This guy could have been stopped if someone there had a ccw and was carrying. IF they had the intestinal fortitude to use it. We live in a dangerous society, and people HAVE to be prepared to defend themselves. I hardly think it is any kind of conspiracy though.
