The president is on a need to known bases. He does not need to know about ufo's so he is not told about them.

that woulda been my opinion too, as reagan couldn't keep his gob shut, they (cia)are proberly learning by their mistakes, IMO a need to know information for the president, but then again, if there is going to be some sort of a universal E.T/Human re'union he proberly knows by now.

Say the ETs are here visiting and we found out they were hostile. The government would have no choice but to take action against them with possible leakage to the populace. Other than that, I'm sure the government knows the truth about the ETs but has better things to do obviously.

I think that the President is a puppet for others to manipulate to their advantage. The possibility of the President having access to all information contained within the DOD has already been ruled out. I highly doubt that the President has any knowledge of such things. You guys know Bush, he can't keep his mouth shut. They would never tell him about things of this nature, for fear that he would spill his guts on TV to make himself look good. Bush's ego is too big. I'm surprised he even has a clearance...
