I find this to be incredible that states are now taking peoples property as many are moving up the timetable to claim it. It may take time to go
through all of a loved ones possessions, especially if they left boxes of stuff in an attic/basement. Sometimes it could be years before someone
discovers a late relative had accounts or stocks, bonds and other assets. The article does state the state try to locate the persons, but the article
sounds like they are just waiting for the account to go dormant for three years.
I think this is quite greedy on the part of the state governments out there.
