The "Dark" Gray and the Scanner

This year I've had two experiences that I can't explain. However, I didn't experience an abduction or have any missing time. It might have been
Waking Dreams since I was sleeping at the time. Anyway, here is what happened:
It was early one morning, before dawn. I awakened from a deep sleep to find a being standing between my bed and the unit of shelves that I keep electronics on. From reading the boards it was similar to The Grays, but it had darker, almost black skin. It was about 3 or 4 feet tall with pointy black fingernails. It had no hair that I can remember. For some reason it had one of those odd Chinese imperial headdresses, the ones with tassels hanging off the front and back. It was also wearing a black robe. I remember feeling an aura of pure evil. It had a smile like it thought I was insignificant. The teeth were white and lizard like. Then I became aware of a tall hooded figure standing by the right side of my bed. At that point I started to glare at the small being, which made it smile more. Then the taller being recited something in a language I didn't recognize and I went unconscious or fell asleep. When I woke up it was a few hours later.
My next experience, five months later, was not scary, just unexpected. I had been awake, but had dozed off. The next time I opened my eyes there was a humanoid scanning me. The scanning device was similar to what you'd see on star trek. This being had tan/orange colored skin, similar to an octopus, with white eyes. I can't really remember what the face was like. But it had four fingered hands with gray round semi orbs instead of nails, it's hard to describe. It knew I was awake and just silently vanished.
Again, it might have been dreams. But has anyone had any similar experiences or just have something to add?

It sounds like you are lucid dreaming. Why the Chinese head dress?
Ask yourself why several different weird creatures would all be doing that and then suddenly disappear upon you waking?

I have no idea where the Chinese headdress came from! It's possible I remembered it from my subconscious, but I hadn't seen or heard anything
on China that day. If my lucid dreams are that detailed I have a very good imagination!
As for an alien scanning me and then disappearing; maybe it didn't want to be noticed or wasn't supposed to make contact. If it was real I hope he got the information he needed. If they wanted to run tests on me they should just ask! I would have said yes probably. If any nice non-humans read this, just ask! You might have to bribe me with a tour of your starship...
