When they make the googly eye face its hard to get angry...

Quick anecdote: once my dearest pup ate too much chicken, she got sick, and made a HUGE mess in my carpeted living room, I didn't know that such small creatures could crap that much!

I turned on the lights and behold, the apocalypse, everything got soiled, i had to calm myself down by counting to 10, i wanted to kill her so much, and the i saw her lying under a chair, with tummy aches, just broke my heart..

I learnt a lot that day, not only about cleaning carpets, but of myself in the process, i was so angry for the mess, but i was much more worried for my dog's health...

some pets just need to talk to be lil children!

cheers!

thats the thing that we learn so much from our little friends
the same goes for me, learnd so much and every day am learning more
per example not going mad when someone is coming in with dirty feet... and what? no problem just a little cleaning process and all is good, dont care... calm down
am happy i have a friend like my dog and i will never miss him again

Here's a picture of my dog Tizz, taken last Christmas-

- and looking pretty annoyed at having to wear his Christmas jumper!
No surprise, that was the only time it's been worn!

Ah, Biscuits & Gravy so cute! I had a crush on the paper rout girl when I was twelve. She would deliver the newspaper on a bike with a huge rat on her shoulder.

At the time she was the girl of my dreams. A professional girl and one with a cool rat!

Gangster looks like a cat my sister had a few years back!

They sit in their fancy 3 story cage ontop of a table in the living room. The cats and dog have their own extra room in the house at night and during the day they don't really notice them anymore, at first if they tried to jump up on the table I would squirt them.
They all live in harmony now, my dog actually loves them, I call them the "babies" and he'll sniff and try to lick them and whine if I take them away.

Thanks MrMysticism, Yeah mine will hang out on my shoulder but they tend to steal any food i'm trying to eat. and pull drinks away.

thats what strikes me the most, if the "mindless" animals can get along, despite their "racial" differences, why cant we???

its like having a high priest of the KKK, a Black supremacist, a muslim leader and a Radical Xtian sharing the same bathroom on a monday morning!

no disrespect intended, just illustrating a point!

After pondering the meaning of it all, in the end, pets give us strange and wonderful lessons!

I was responsible for a dog for about a year, his name was Ferguson, named after the tractor, not the manager. Hence my nickname, that was his nickname.

He was a 7 year old Alaskan Husky, black with a white stripe in his was and white socks, chest and tail tip. He was used as a sled dog and was good at it. Very skinny, but not small in size. I could fit his arse in my hand but he was tall and long, just muscle. During the year I knew him he became by far the best friend I ever had. We understood eachother completly.

Haven't seen him for a year and I don't know what happened to him. Still miss him though.

Suppose there's a chance. But not sure I want to know, because he is a sled dog all it would take is a small injury and he would be put down. Because of his age the man who owned him at the time wanted to sell him and start afresh with a young pack. So either he's sold, put down or he might be with his previous owner.

The thing is that I am in no position to own a dog at the moment, and I'm not sure what would happen if I did find him again. And I'm afraid he might be dead and I want to keep him alive in my memory.
