Walmart and the Sept Crash

I've been thinking that due to the hoopla Walmart has been stirring up with their horrid business practices and fear of Obama being elected and potential problems with Unions and the like, I've been wondering what the chances are of Walmart having something to do with the perpetuation of this Sept 08 financial crash.

Reason being, everyone is saying to stock up on canned goods and water. Where would 70% of the American public be buying these products? Wally World!!! I would think that if enough people were afraid of this Sept crash and began stocking up, Walmart would have one hell of a month from all of the fear mongering.
