Teens plan Ambush to attack Camp David

www.foxnews.com

WASHINGTON — A map of President Bush's motorcade route to Camp David was found last week when police searched the home of a teenager accused of stockpiling weapons and bomb-making materials, according to prosecutors.

Sounds a little suspicous, in my opinion, this is a bit advanced for teenagers. Not doubting their creativity, but some body else must have directed at least one of them.

Not very often do people just start a planned action, and gather the resources. A map and stockpileing suggests a group effort, so I'm going with the idea that this ivolved at least two or three others not mentiond in the article.

Seems this was reported primarily by FOX.

I found this odd,

a CIA identification and a Geneva Convention ID, like ones given to contractors in Iraq.

Do they typically give contractors in Iraq CIA Identification???

Am I reading this wrong?

Leads me to another question, After the contract is up and the contractors come home... do they have to turn in the idents or do they become a new source of ID for those who have money??

Police also reportedly discovered range-finding binoculars, a CIA identification and a Geneva Convention ID, like ones given to contractors in Iraq.

Additionally, according to The Washington Post, investigators discovered documents on how to kill from a distance of 200 meters — a little more than two football fields.

Police found four assault rifles, two shotguns, one handgun and ammunition for the weapons, along with "chemicals and components commonly used to manufacture homemade explosives" at McKenzie-Gude's home, according to a Montgomery County police news release.

The juvenile charged in the case faces theft, computer misuse, and conspiracy charges. Police say he had worked as an intern at the county police department and swiped documents that allowed McKenzie-Gude to purchase the explosive chemicals, as well as police equipment including bullet-resistant vests and the false identification.

McKenzie-Gude's father, Joseph Lane Gude Jr., also is charged in the case. Police say he illegally bought firearms for his son

How in the hell would a 17 year old intern have access to bullet proof vests, sensitive documents, and fake I.D.'s? I wonder if this is where he got the fake CIA I.D. It sounds like this police force is in major need of an overhaul.

I guess CIA Idents are all that hard to come by.

Whether or not the would be believable is another thing...

They would only give CIA contractors, or temporary employees under short term contract, with the CIA the ID's. Once the contract is over, the ID would be turned in and probably destroyed in typical CIA fasion. Burned to ash, ash mixed up in water until a paste, then dried and burned again.

ID's from what I have seen, are composed of the individuals data for recognition, so they can not be used by any one else. I know the DoD IDs get turned in, and I offer my best educated guess the CIA does too.

But it is entirely possable, an ID had be photo copied or reproduced by some other electronic means. An form of espionage all in it's own I beleive, could be wrong though. Serious charges none the less, all the more to be piled up on the existing ones.

No, no, not a credo, or creed, but an Identification card, like a security pass with photo ID and such, like this FBI but CIA

well good luck to them kids. even richard marcinko has stated that due to the upgrades in security camp david has undergone that it is impervious to a red cell type attack. If red cell can't defeat the security at camp david anymore than those kids were going to get busted long before they could do any harm anyways.

by busted I mean they would have been all shot by a sniper firing sabot 50 cal rounds from 1000 feet away as they tried to set up for their ambush.

Like I say before, the streets are been paved for the homegrown terrorist bill.

littler by littler unrest and disappointment alone with stupidity is been blame to domestic terrorism.

It has gone as far as blaming an incident with a fraternity in California last week with homegrown terrorism.

The words were used just like that, the incident didn't made it to main stream media but I happen to see it on the news.

Just keep your eyes and ears open because more and more incidents are going to be tagged domestic terrorism.

The bill will be passed and signed and nobody will even be aware of it.

What scares me the most are the people that either support what he was trying to do, or think it was a government setup to pave the way for a domestic terrorism bill that will take away everyones constitutional rights.

What kind of society have we developed where everytime the government does something we don't agree with, a call to arms is called? We don't even know the motive this kid and his dad (if involved) had. Bush is on his way out, and it looks more and more like the next Pres will be either Obama or McCain. Was this a contingency plan in case one of them wins?

So is that what we've come to? murdering the person we don't want as our leader simply because he wasn't the one we wanted in power? If thats the case, we will decend into anarchy and a massive civil war, because nobody ever born was supported by 100% of the citizenry. Every official ever running would be assassinated by someone or another.

Ridiculous. If you don't like the elected official, leave the country and live somewhere else. Assassinating our elected officials stands against everything this country was created on, founded on, and stands for.

This looks like a setup, or like he was being helped.
By terrorists or by much older people who want shrub dead.
Maybe even a setup to take away the rest of our rights like
someone else mentioned.

Sounds like a setup to me. Teens? Here is what I see: In an effort to shore up the home-grown terrorist lies, they stage a group armed to the teeth with a map. Then they can point and say,
"look here, they were going to attack us!" and then the people say, "something has to be done!" and then the government says, (again) "guns are dangerous." Of course, if the teens would have resisted, or been under heavy mind control that went awry, then the tanks and Swat teams would have been called in to "deal with" the situation. Problem/Reaction/Solution. Works every time.

I think that everyone is underestimating the ability of these young guys. Aside from getting the position at the station with access to all those documents, the rest is rather easy to create/obtain. I do wonder just how long ago he started working there, how far back could this go?

Can you say Anarchists Cookbook....

Any SUV or new home that gets torched can be blamed on the ELF even without the letters ELF spray painted nearby. This is their strategy to marginalize environmentalists as dangerous to your safety. On the right they can use the militias and gun hobbyists as patsys. Then its just round up time as they work their way to the middle.

How much you wanna bet that the teenagers in question were identified, NOT through warrantless wiretapping, but instead through the presence of the ubiquitous agent provacateur that always seems to be inserted by the government, providing both information and means towards the end of 'busting' them?

It is the way of the government to 'create' these situations, and they have been caught doing it again, and again.

Of course, they must be certain that none of the would be 'perpetrators' are remotely middle eastern looking. Which, I suspect is why teenagers would be the easiest to maneuver into such a position.

This is terrible. I have come to a point where every action the government takes, every declaration that is made, every platitude and meager show of benevolence, must be scrutinized and dissected for ill intent.

If anyone could have pulled this off, I think it would have been a teenager. The two words "I can't" are not in their vocabulary. They are 10' tall bullet proof kids who are more educated than the kids back in the 90's who's big accomplishments were comming up with fake ID's after the drivers licenses got all fancy.

A lot of teenagers these days have several college courses under their belts before they even get their high school diplomas. I've known some to be less than a year from their associates by the time they graduate from high school.

Take more education, combine it with the beautiful passion filled, indestructable, common sense lacking, rose colored glasses wearing, teenager, and this is what you get.

What I am not seeing in any of this is how and or why they started to look into this kid. Do I think he could acomplish all that he did by himself ...yes. Not that hard to pull off. Personally I dont see what he did wrong. He had assault weapons not illegal where I live. Map's of the presidents route not illegal. Documents how to kill from 200 meters also not illegal. Bomb making materials uhm everyone has them in their house in one form or another. Bullet proof vests also not illegal. Fake CIA contractor ID also not illegal to own. All of these items are only illegal to use but not own. A little premptive justification for the boys in blue if you ask me.

You are probably talking about 1 percent or less of the kids today. On the average, they are the least educated in the history of United States. Kids are passed to the next grade whether they have learned the material or not just to keep things moving along. College kids ditto. Have you ever watched the man on the street segment of the Tonight Show where Jay Leno goes out and asks college students at their graduation questions that any high school student should be able to answer? Many cannot even name the continents or their political leaders. Many are totally ignorant of US and world history and some cannot even tell you how long it takes the Earth to orbit the Sun.

I once worked in a supervisory position where I was responsible for training new hires for factory work. I was appalled at the poor communications skills, lack of motivation, and general ignorance of the young people who were hired to run machinery. I would much rather have the military veterans, who were always a pleasure to deal with, than the spoiled, ignorant, little tit babies we got from the local high school.

I have to agree that it seems that these kids were coached by someone, probably an adult.

That society, by Thomas Jefferson's estimation, was called FREE. Let me give you a direct quote from him. You know, the guy that wrote the Declaration of Independence. Here is the quote as people like to say it (which takes it COMPLETELY out of context). "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Everyone takes that to mean that we must go to war from time to time. While that is true, let's take the WHOLE quote in context, and see WHO we (as in the people) should be going to war AGAINST.

God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty.... And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.

The entire quote, in context, lets you know exactly WHO it was he was talking about rebelling against.

So, to answer your question of "What kind of society have we developed where everytime the government does something we don't agree with, a call to arms is called? ", the answer would be: America as it was envisioned by the founding fathers
