I think I understand what your saying, but I doubt it's lag between the photon and the visual cortex. I understand it as all particles emit a wave of
possibilites, every possibility they could be, they are, until observed, they are then what we expect them to be, the particle, or the amalgamation of
particles to create an object we understand, say a chair.
Hologram is a term we coined, so to state that the universe is a hologram, is wrong as it is right. It's a matrix of light/energy that we percieve
how we choose, you could call this a hologram, but I'd say a hologram is no where near complex enough to describe whats going on, you could call it
billions of holograms all existing in the same space, and we percieve the one that makes sense to us.
Probably wrong, but by how far.
