no im not off my rocker. listen this, mon!

remember the sniper dude in DC in 2002? yeah, how long did it take those fat bastards to find a kid and a lunatice? believe me. it's not a question of funding nor is it about the amount of manpower, it's just a question of "why do we need so many if they can't find a mass murder quick enough?"

and how about their so-called job to arrest the guilty? I don't see Ken Lay in a jail for squeezing millions from former workers, nor do I see Bush and crew being tried for treason and/or stonewalling an investigation that has to do with the mass murder of over 3,000 people. Where are the cops on that?

all cops are good for is enforcing the rule of despots. That's it. that's why they have riot police. What I wonder is what kind of soulless sons of bitches would be so dense so as to participate willingly in riot/crowd control without having a guilty conscience over it?

forgive me, those of you who are good feds or know good feds, but my experience with feds has led me to believe that they are not to be trusted. under no condition should they be regarded on friendly terms as they are always focused on pinning a crime on YOU, whether or not you are innocent. That's their job, they would claim. Anyone who has power thrown to them on an infinite basis will eventually become corrupt, and many police forces around this world have become just that.

Riot Police are needed in such situations as last years mega riot in Lansing Michigan after the one huge Michigan State game, or any other sporting event where people just start freaking out and trashing things. I dont consider those events of peace and brotherhood.

Yeah, this is one type of melee I don't understand.
How is rioting, vandalizing, burning show your joy over your team winning?
Or, your disappoitment at their loss?
Crowds can be scary creatures with a life of their own. [Personally, I avoid crowds like the plague!!

Well...yeah. That's their purpose...to enforce the law. They can't put anyone on trial and the police you are talking about can't walk up and throw the handcuffs on good ol George. Those police are called the CIA, the FBI, and those sneaky detectives that nobody knows about.

The police force is a part of the executive branch, whose job is to enforce laws. They don't make them, interpret them, or change them. They just enforce them.

Riot police do just that, police riots. They try to stop things from getting too far before they do, which is logical, but usually ends up just pissing more rioters off so things get physical.

What we don't need is more physical aggression and fighting. Ok, I'm about to sound like a mega-hippie, but we need to stop f****** around with bombs and guns and gas and shields and armor. This isn't the freckin middle ages man! Warring against authority is just giving them more authroity over you, don't you get that? I'm all for revolution and liberation, and neither one of those involves tear gas.

The fact that they have to use tear gas is sick. Sick on OUR part. If we have become wild enough to get someone hurt or worse killed, then we've lost our purpose and all our validity.

What we need is more of this...

Jennifer Strait, a Seattle resident, dropped to the ground pleading for an end to violence, while police officers dispersed WTO protesters using tear gas and rubber bullets Tuesday in downtown Seattle.

Joe Murphy of Bremerton, from the Kitsap County Labor Council, joined in a peaceful protest of the WTO at Tuesday's rally in Memorial Stadium in Seattle.

and less of this...

Tear gas and rubber bullets were used by police in downtown Seattle to disperse WTO protesters at Fourth and Pine.

I post alot of images, huh?

The problem with crowds is that they're generally big, they can be peaceful, but usually there's a bunch of people dicking around and being violent that ruin it for everyone. The violence spreads through the crowd ratehr quickly, and that's when you see people getting knocked on their ass by a teargas canister to the chest or a few truncheon blows. You know what? There's acres of difference between a protest and a riot. I've seen pictures of both, and sometimes they overlap.

Trust me- when things get to a near-riot level, I'm one of the ones who WANTS the bronze in there taking people down. Protesting is cool. It makes a point. But when you start beating each other up, causing massive property damage, well then the police just have to step in.

Oh yeah, and for those people that are surprised when cops get a little forceful... well, your people antagonised them...

Makes me pretty pissed when people say they should get rid of cops, or they're doing a bad job, or they're all corrupt. Firstly, that's what the NWO wants. Secondly, the blue crews are out there every night, dealing with the dregs of society. Thirdly, their job is mostly # and very little reward. remember... we'll always need them. If we get rid of them, who's going to police teh streeets?

I've read somewhere that the police have at the big protests their own officers disguised as prostestors to instigate the protestors' anger. After the police fake protestors get the real protestors going, they withdraw, which then gives the police the right to use their unlimited force.

They are only doing their job, but sometimes events call for unusual actions, by what I've read.

I was told that there was a special on PBS (NJ) just last week by someone that is not even into conspiricies. She said that there was actual recordings of the police doing this. I have no reason to doubt her although she could not remember the name of the program.
