Gruesome crime shocks Greek isle

Police on the Greek island of Santorini have shot and injured a knifeman who decapitated his girlfriend and walked around the streets with her head.

Terrified residents of the popular tourist island barricaded themselves into their homes and called the police.

The suspect, 35, was shot during a dramatic car chase in which he crashed into a motorbike and badly injured the rider and pillion passenger.

The crime is one of the most gruesome in Greece in recent memory.

WTF is going on? People losing thier heads left right and centre!

Brazil (Girl butchered, head cut off and stuffed in suitcase), Canada (Grey hound bus) and now Greece?

This is f##### spooky sh## going down.

I think the reporting of these stories, or rather, the megaphone they are sent through to the masses, is more damaging than the act itself.

Recall the threads about people having thoughts they couldn't control, and negative emotions and thoughts popping in their heads that didn't seem to belong to them.

what goes on in a person's mind before, during, and after, decapitating another living, breathing, loving, and sentient being?

People are allowing their emotions to run their lives, and all it takes to master your emotions is observation and breathing before action. Conscious awareness of what your intentions are and a recognition of the emotion before you allow it to leave your bodymindspirit.

Breathe! Allow oxygen to get into your brain before you act on an impulse.

I believe that in the following years leading up to 2012 and beyond, we are going to experience an increase in both violence and love. (love being a respect and tolerance of all beings and an understanding of the underlying connection that binds everything in the universe)

violence stems from anger stems from fear.

oh sure its not damaging to everyone. But it could possibly be the straw that would break a psychopathic basket case camels back, if you see what Im getting at.

Just think about the thoughts that circulate in some people's minds.

The contents of the OP of this thread are alarmingly common and seem to be increasing in numbers today.

AM I so programmed that all I can do is mentally connect the Manitoba incident with this one? One might be inclined to believe that some kind of connection exists since both pieces center around the beheading of a victim. But really, why would anyone want such a connection to be inferred?

Is this more a of a cultural expression; voyeuristic tendencies towards extreme abberations of human conduct? Or does synchronicity really beg the inference that something is wrong on a larger scale, one which transcends the normal boundaries of location, cultural background, and such?

These horrors are truly disturbing. Two does not qualify as a trend. Let's hope that is as far as such tragedies will go.

Oh heck, don't get me wrong I am totally understanding what your saying - there is some thing going on that just seems to scream 'pressure cooker'.

Who or what starting / controlling it I have no idea though.

Santorini is well known among "hunters" for its affiliation with Vampires. "Send a vampire to Santorini," is one old saying. There is also mention of this affiliation here...
