Say it aint so!
Nothing you said here made sense you republican. Yes food is tainted. How many reports came out this year about tainted food? Well if you listen to the news, maybe 100, if your in food industry its more like 300. Tainted food popping up everywhere. Selminela in everything from spinach tomatoes cantaloupes jalepanos. Half of what you eat is artificial, technically tainted. Now the rest of the bs you were saying was to be stereotypical. You think everyone against the Government, not gubment, believes in all kinds of crazy scenarios and the most far fetched conspiracies, not to offend those who believe, though not liking the government has nothing to do with say, men in black? You're a little crazy dude for throwing everyone in the same boat there. So peace I hope you don't post again cause it will just waste mine and everyone elses time.

I think you need to get a grip on reality. This is the perfect example of journalism making a mountain out of a molehill. Ok, 100 get sick from jalepinos, another 200 from spinach. Do you realize, excuse me, understand the percentage that represents? To make a broad sweeping statement the "THE FOOD IS POISONED..RUN AWAY" is the same as saying "Heart attacks are caused by wearing shirts" Out of the 332,456 people that had heart attacks last year, 332,003 were waering shirts. BAN SHIRTS!!!!

Do you realize how stupid that sounds?

I hate to say this but I agree for the most part, you have to look at reality. We let our country get this way and it started decades ago, this isn't anything new. EVERYONE in power and I mean everyone seems to be corrupted and in it only for self. This is NOT a government of the people, by the people, for the people it is a government of the crooks, by the corrupt, for the corrupt. You can try to vote one out only to have another of the same or worse breed take over. I will tell you this for a fact, your senator and congress person couldn't give a crap about you, your family, your situation. What can one do?

Long gone are the days of true leaders and hero's of the people. Long gone are the true revolutionaries. Though my heart yearns that there may still be one among us.

Do yourself a favor then, no, do all of us taxpayers a favor and NOT collect any kind of social moneys. Get the hell out of the country and move to Canada. Land of the free healthcare that takes you 12 months to get a knee surgery. Now I agree that this government is totally corrupt. However, I think we could do alot worse. Why is it that everyone wants to come here? I don't remember seeing a line outside Stalin's or Hitler's door waiting to get in. I don't actually see a mass exodus heading to Canada or Mexico right now, matter of fact a see the opposite.

What needs to occur, in my opinion, is a worldwide revolution, followed by the establishment of community level organization. The golden rule should be followed and it should be understood that it is wrong to impose your will upon others, if those two simple concepts could be followed we could have a lasting peace.

As far as how a revolution could succeed, there are several ways, all requiring mass numbers of supporters. The violent route could lead to a great portion of the population turning against the revolution. A peaceful solution is more plausible, perhaps a campaign that holds as its mantra, 'IGNORE THE GOVERNMENT', could succeed. Imagine, masses of individuals not paying taxes, tickets, or fees; not supporting corporations that pay taxes; not recognizing the 'authority' of government employees. Treat the police as you would any body else. Perhaps that could work?

Very well put! I agree with the 'sneak information' tactic, so not to overload anyone. And there is truly much to be learned from others.

If Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine and the rest of our forefathers were alive today, the revolution would have already begun. The Jeffersons and Paines are out there, personified by the Ron Paul, the first politician in a LONG tme who has the inteegrity and courage to stand up to our current treasonous administration and tell the American people the TRUTH. It is also personified in the individuals here on ATS who have the guts to continue to exercise their sacred 1st amendment right to free speech in criticizing said administration, knowing that their comments are most likely monitored by the same corrupt government that spent most of the last eight years spending our hard earned tax dollars to take those rights away from us so that we will be labeled "domestic terrorists" if we do exercise our right to free speech. We speak for our forefathers, and we will not be silenced.

Why do you think the Bush Administration has taken such great lengths to take away our rights through the manipulation of fear? Because the only thing they REALLY fear is us. Ladies and gentlemen, WE are America, not some corporate white house puppet and his hired thugs. When government fails to serve its people and only serves itself, it no longer serves any useful purpose at all and therefore becomes irrelevant. Our government's system of checks and balances, so carefully designed by our founding fathers, has been thown out the window along with our sacred constitution, which Bush has referred to as merely "a God damned piece of paper," like it was bubble gum stuck to the bottom of his shoe. These are not the words of a true American, they are the words of a traitor who cares nothing of the blood our forefathers shed for the realization of true freedom. The blood of our forefathers runs in our veins too. We must organize, locally and nationally, to take back our country and reclaim our constitutional rights. There is no freedom without courage, and we as a people have much more power than we realize. We must do it, if not for us then for our children and their childen. I have no idea how to organize or what to do, but do it we must. It's hero time!

I've lurked for a long time and I finally made this account, only to keep lurking. So this is my first post. I haven't read every single post here yet but I'll get around to it. Anyways to the topic...
I've wondered this for a while, and even taken efforts to educate people of whats going on, not with conspiracy's just the facts to have them come to a conclusion. Its been said by someone else already but its true, people are lazy and they believe lies because the truth is scary! Oh no the scary truth! Maybe if we pretend its not there it will leave! When the Revolution rolls around I know I'll fight at least not like I have anything better to do with my life not to mention the fact that its a worthwhile cause to fight for even if people are to stupid to notice that. Will the MSM report on it? I hope not cause that would mean they haven't been lynched.(Joke!...kinda...at least destroy something like a camera or light a desk on fire, something pretty.)
Is peace worth a try? Yes peace is always worth a try.
Will it work at this point? Hahaha You can hope for the best but you better prepare for the worst. Get in shape, jar homegrown food that will last basically forever without chemicals (ask your Grandmother how, Shes old she probably knows how.), learn to use firearms make explosives, basic first aid how to live off the land. But don't just learn them either, practice them.
Learn to read/make maps the list goes on forever. Most of all the, the one thing everyone should do is set aside your differences. Religion, differences of opinion it doesn't matter get over yourselves, who cares you can fight about that after we save ourselves from impending doom hopefully you wise up during the fighting and notice that every enemy is just a reflection of yourself in which you have conflict with...well most of the time anyways, some people are just dicks.
For the at least one person that said "What can anyone do that really changes things?Nothing. " or some complete rubbish like that, the only thing that can, will, or ever has changed the world is a small group of devoted people.
Someone else said they wanted to know when it is if we are serious and so on and so fourth, well how is the 11th for you? I cant do the 10th because I promised I would..uh..take my kid sister to the park or something I don't know fill in the gap yourselves.
We could do it one of two ways wait for them to mess up, more people are distrusting them everyday but that's slow, or we can be civil get our message out and then rip them a new one after some people are willing to follow.
This is about winning our freedom, and I for one don't believe in dirty fighting. But still, leave the ignorant non-threatening semi-innocent masses alone for a while, we can yell at them afterward..not that it will really help or anything, there are more ways but I'm consumed by lethargy tonight and this is already waaay to long. I don't really have a good way to close this so just make one up that you would like.

I debated making a post to see if people would stand up and if they would join me but I didn't cause...I enjoy lurking, But if this post gets a positive response I may....but on the other hand, there are five fingers. (Don't worry about the randomness, I just figure it might make the post more enjoyable.)

Actually, I believe one of the best things we could do at this point is exactly what the government thinks we will do anyways... NOTHING! The only difference is... I mean do NOTHING. If everyone across the nation turned off the phone and just slept in one Monday morning... decided not to go to work... not to leave the house... just took a total day off... that would make them sh*t. Mid-day send announcements to all the radio and tv stations letting them know that America took the day off. We The People could hold the Government hostage so to say. The second day would pretty much be the end of Wall Street... I believe they might listen then.

Another thing that might make THEM a bit nervous would be if everyone decided to take all their money out of the bank. It isn't hard now adays to make a message go viral... pick a date and get as many ppl as you can to pull money from banks. The banks are gonna come down slowly anyways... let's just make it go faster so they can steal less.

And note how strange some Americans blast the people in Europe (mostly the French) for not being brave and standing with the USA over the war in Iraq. The french took to the streets in mass and demanded change not so long ago, some even rioted, but they got that change and reform is in the air around the towns and cities of France.

The USA would never see mass change brought on by it's people, too much time has passed for that to happen now. When they took your leader and killed him on your streets, in front of you. They took your country and you all did nothing about it.

And you know what, I am glad that there will be no change in America, I'm glad the USA is heading down the track it is right now. It's really seen as a lazy unforgiven place on the world map, a place where people have little say and the Government are never held to account. It can't last forever and lots of people I talk to in Europe cannot wait for it to implode.

To create the very things you then go after and fight, to build and arm the very armies that you then ask yet another group of young Americans to go off and destroy and to watch as them young men, your American youth, come home in bags in the name of "freedom" is nothing more than a sick joke.

So you will never see this Revolution and you will never watch the battle cries of real reform on your American streets, because if you did, then we would be hearing reports of Americans being killed in mass, on American streets.

Fear and or apathy.

I have a cousin who was part of AIM in the 70's. She told me that if the government wants to shut you down, they do it, and very methodically.
It's going to take more than just a small number of people. But it seems people these days only care about their computers, games, ipods, downloads, etc. It's not going to hit anyone until the knock comes on their door, or when they finally wake up and see that it's already here.

I hear two generations in my family telling me, we've been spied on for decades, and that now it's just more out in the open. And my parents generation (counter culture) telling me, it's been going on since they were aware of it, but now it's just getting worse as time goes by. Soon, the masses will be controlled if we don't stand up. Who will stand up though?

Seems like it doesn't take much to put fear into people. Send some anthrax to someone, knock a tower or two down. And then you get someone out there duct taping themselves into their houses. We have to become united, and we have to make our govt fear us. That's how it should be. We shouldn't be fearing them.

As aside regarding Ghandi, they killed John Lennon too, because they were afraid of his capabilities, of simply leading people into a possible revolution.

It's late and I'm tired, so.... this probably makes not a lick of sense.

Oh yeah. I've always played out this scenario in my mind, or one in which people just simply refused to fill up their gas tanks for a week or two. It wouldn't take much. Sure, some folks would miss work, and a chunk out of their paychecks, but how much are we willing to do, and how far will we go to get what we want is the question.

My husband has always thought, it wouldn't matter, but it would if the whole country joined in and simply refused to shop, buy gas, and go to work for two weeks straight or more.

What is the one thing we were told to do after 9/11? SHOP.

The solution is energy independence imho. If people focus on renewable and personal generation of energy and spreading the tech amongst their neighbours and international friends soon the politics of earth will change. People won't want to invade other countries, people can live in peace wherever they want.

I'll give a pratical example. Say you have solar panels and atmospheric water generation machines that give you a few thousand litres a day as well as hydrogen and/or electric machines... well, then you can live anywhere on earth pratically, especially in the middle of the driest deserts. You can plant your gardens, you can raise cattle, you can live in peace. You can bring life to barren lands. All because you have energy, all because you own your technology instead of leasing it.

This sort of thinking, applied en masse as an objective to society, will bring down the strongest of governments. Revolution starts in our mind. If we stop looking up to celebrities and politicians, most of which are totally stupid and hollow human beings, some of which are manipulating SOB's, if we focus our admiration to those that really deserve it, like farmers, sanitation workers, truckers, construction workers, repairmen, the people that build and maintain society, then we will gain focus and realise that our priorities have been wrong all along.

Change your mind and society will eventually change to its tune.

I am Canadian, and looking in from the outside (now so far anyways) I can only give the following advice.

When it is time to revolt, it is time. You will know when. I believe it is coming. Hopefully the revolt will start before Marshall Law. However, the revolt could bring on Marshall Law.

I watched a really enlightening documentary on the protests in Seattle in 1999. I was so proud to see people rising up against the WTO.

This really made me feel great about my neighbors to the south. To show such brotherhood. Finally there was something more important than crime and racism.

I'm just wonder what the introduction to the patriot act will do to people in non-violent protests. I wish you all luck, and hope you can take care of it all before your government politically takes over North America.

Ha. Buddy I didn't say the food is tainted run for the hills. Someone said they'll poison the food if we revolt, well if u care to acknowledge or not, though the food is tainted. And there's been more then 300 cases. I still eat the fn food, and I have a fine grip on reality. Just don't take all my words way out of context next time. And this has to do bout revolution not food.

I don't care to argue anymore. I just wanted to post my questions and get responses, and it appears as if 9 out of 10 responders agree, and who knows about the other 3000 people who didn't say anything. But hey, lets just work on forcing our government to do what they are supposed to do for us. Protect our country. For once.

you're right! and sodium fluoride is one reason why!!

www.newswithviews.com...
www.mondovista.com...

among the MANY sources about fluoride being harmful to us as an evolving species, i find these articles sum it up very well. however, i'm always open to learning new things, so if anyone has better sources, please let me know!

the bottom line - fluoride make us lethargic and apathetic, and it's EVERYWHERE these days..

...and we've wondered so long why nobody seems to care about anything anymore, except the crap right in front of their faces affecting their personal survival... and that's what it's all about - the wolves just keep us struggling and (barely) surviving so we, as an advancing race, don't think about the REAL, bigger issues at hand, like what's going to happen with this planet, but mainly ourselves, if we keep up this ignorance much longer.

THE TIME IS NOW - go with the flow and accept change, or you're only asking for heartache. as it turns out, anything that seems REMOTELY bad to a human conscience, IS bad and should be avoided at all costs. all it takes is to be a good soul - don't keep lying to yourself; be good and pure in all areas. is that so hard?

American have become lazy the kids in the 60's just got up and rioted

every single gain American workers have fought for has been wiped out
Americans died in the streets to get those gains
I know the schools don't teach this
around 1912-1917
people were in the streets everywhere and Wilson sent the army in to
knock down the insurrection.
between 1935 and 1941 Americans march in the streets rioting the communist party was big then in America.

The American worker slaved and rioted for what they earned some died for what they believed in.

the last 8 years has wiped most of the most important gains out
Many Americans slave for 8$ an hour while the president and congressmen and senators make 200-400 k a year. and many of them have been
changing laws and attacking the constitution to keep Americans down in the gutter of despair.
its not a pretty sight and its going to get a lot uglier

but remember an armed insurrection willbe met by military force
and many will die
who will be the first to lead it and die.
you have to vote third party and keep doing that untill it sinks in.
