ANDREA MITCHELL: I have to tell you that the people who heard Barack Obama say what he said Wednesday night—and it's very similar to things he's said in Paris and Berlin and a lot of other stops—it's very self-deprecating. He says "I don't look like other people who have been President of the United States," most people who watched that, I don't know very many people who've watched that, and the people in the audience, the reporters, have never interpreted it, have never inferred from that, that he is making some kind of racial statement, but that's the way the McCain camp says that they took it, and Rick Davis by putting it out there, sure --
JOE SCARBOROUGH: Andrea, excuse me for a minute. How can it be self-deprecating when he says, when Barack Obama says, that John McCain's camp is going to say "I look different"? Or when he says they're going to try to scare you because I'm black. How is that--because I've heard "self-deprecating" a couple times--how in the hell is that self-deprecating?
TIKI BARBER: This is Tiki, Andrea. Does he have a point, does he have an argument: Rick Davis?
MITCHELL: Well, it's all in the eye of the beholder, Tiki. I gotta tell you that most people covering, the people covering the campaign certainly didn't see it that way. And the Obama people deny it strongly. The McCain people feel just as strongly. John McCain reaffirmed personally that he agrees with Rick Davis.

So when Fox News reports a negative light on Obama, you don't complain?
Conservative double standard.
I should get a tee shirt that says that
its the media, man. If you let them, they'll get to ya.
I think its hilarious - that you even take them seriously.

Well, without fox there would be no opposition to Obama in the media. Are you saying that because Fox doesn't lick Obama's balls that MSNBC has every right to actively campaign for Obama? Who said I take Fox seriously anyway?
I'll assume you have nothing to say in relation to the subject of the thread?

It's just another attempt to displace blame and turn the tables for Obama's race baiting.
This now the third time Obama has race baited the McCain campaign, and each time the McCain campaign didn't bite.
The race right now is locked in dead-even. Without "blogsphere" more people would be falling for Obama's BS, but luckily, many are learning the truth on the web. The MSM can't sensor the web, only their little corners of it.
Keep it up bloggers, Obama is losing his "Fight the Smears" campaign. It should be called "Detract from Truth".
Either way, not Hollywood, Investment bankers or the energy companies can squelch the truth outside the MSM.

The only race baiting I have seen around here have come from righties claiming his a muslim, that his some pan-african extremest and the fact his biracial. There were even a number of republicans who stated in public that their simply to ready for a black president.
Just because McCain doesnt say it doesnt mean its not happening. But you just prefer to turn the other eye from the racial issues coming from the GOP. Very one sided, why dont you keep an open mind huh? Rightie isnt always right.
There have been numerous times where GOPers played the race card, no wonder this nation is in this state, we have people here putting their whole lives into what one party says and refuses to look at the whole picture. What hell should Obama do? Shut up while these lies over his religious and ancestry gets fed to the american public? Nah I dont think its that simple.
McCain my friend is the biggest joke of em all, he gave his soul to the neocons and now his trying fear mongering tactics,
the same ones that lead this nation into the Iraq war, but you obviously cant see that, it the case of denial.
Yet fox news, the GOP and Bush.co are so innocent, damn that MSM news network, their such liars. You continue telling yourself that Jetty. Just continue to eat what the Neocons feed ya.
