Thanks for all the weird math connections people... Time for me to add my theory, and it is REALLY out there... So read at your own risk;

My guess is that there is a combination of events that all lead to a certain point in time. These events have been revealed to us in fragmented ways, often by those who don't understand what they are seeing.

Now the Calender we currently use means nothing, given that it has been changed, started over, and is not used world wide...

But I ask you, does that matter? I mean, if things are predestined to have synchronic relationships with numbers, if only through the symbolism, it would seem to me that our calender was manipulated to reach these ends...

My point?

Crap is starting to hit the fan, and these momentous occasions are ripe to be Tent poles in history for all the wrong reasons.

I for one worry about the LHC, the volatility of certain regions, and the present power struggle in the civilized world.

8/8/8 has the opportunity to join these events and set forth a Domino effect...

What if there was an accident with the LHC and the Olympics were cancelled... that would cause a world-wide angst, which might complicate the problems in the world...

Well, first off 8 is a funny number with me. My birthday is August 8. I will turn 38 on that day 8-8-08. When I turned 8 it was 8-8-70 and I had 8 kids at my party. 1 or 2 couldn't make it. I've also had weird things happen on the 8th of any given month. My first girlfriend gave me note at lunch (10th grade) and it said "I don't love you anymore". Ouch. it was 12-8-86. Not sure why I remember that...I'm the class of '88. Other things have happened but i'm too tired to remember. 8 just seems to be out to get me I have 88 in the last 2 digits in my cell number and 88 in the middle of the social security number too...

I just remembered something... I assume its REM or sleep deprivation...but on ocassion I have this situation go on. I feel as if i'm being dragged by the feet down the sheets of my bed. I can't open my eyes. I realize what is happening and fight it to try and wake up to stop it. I have found myself standing up against the wall ready to fight, almost laughing because I know what just happened. Wide awake and a bit shaken. Heres the catch.. this has happened 20+ times I estimate and never on a regular basis. Everytime it does the first thing I do is look at the clock. Its exactly 3:08am.

I have to also add something. The oldent and most revered book in China is the Oracle of the Book of Changes. Also known as the I-Ching.

This text is a description of the universe. By the combination of Yang and Yin (Creative and Receptive), all of life comes into being, and only by understanding this process can one become enlightened. Or so some might say.

The book is made up of 64 hexagrams. Each hexagram is made up of the putting together of two different trigrams, each of which are made up of the varying combinations of yang & yin in groups of three.

There are 8 trigrams, or states of being, which when joined with another make up the 64 hexagrams. And there you have it once again.

What proof do you have to back-up this claim? I would very much like to see the evidence you have that demonstrates this assertion.

And what are you suggesting.. that the earthquake was manmade? I really don't know where folks come up with this stuff, but I believe some people have too much free time on their hands.

personally it is a BAD thing China gets an Eclipse 8 days....

they believe an Eclipse is a really bad omen...like astronomers have been beheaded in Chinese courts for failing to predict them

0+8= 8
2+0+0+8=10

And then:
8+8=16
1+0=1

And finally:
1+6=7
1

7+1= 8

August 8, 2008 = 8!

With these numbers, I can find everyones Birthdates, SS numbers, Lucky numbers, Favorite numbers, death date, atm pin numbers, your swiss bank numbers, your address, your phone number and extension, I can tell you with these numbers, what you pay for rent or mortgage, and a Whole host of things, But I will not be able to tell you whos number is whos LOL. But I have up there in my number list, THE END OF THE WORLD DATE! LOL

But since their are only 10 of these numbers, I can almost be 100% positive that I will see more then One number repeat itself, and thru Statistics, at least Once, twice or even More There will be In succession, Not to mention MAny can Hack your computer an anyone elses with just 1 and 0.

Im in no way shape of form, saying that the series of 8's that are being shown May or may not have a Importance, Just that it is funny, that its their favorite number that is repeating itself.

Just wanted to add something here. I study Chinese astrology and there is more to a Chinese chart then your year animal. There is a month animal, day, and hour. Aug- 8 is a dragon day, and you know the Chinese and there dragons. So that should answer any questions wealthier the elite use astrology or not
