I work in a call center, and occasionally I'll get feed back, a kind of echo on the line. Most of the time it's just annoying, I can here the background noises around me, my breathing, ect.
Noticed something odd this time though, speaking to alady on the phone.
A couple of times I said "OK" and the echo came back as "Alright."
One time I said "Just a moment." and I heard "Just a second."
I have pretty good hearing, and the echo plays back much louder on my end than what the customer picks up.
I wouldn't say I'm sane, and I can't say i've never heard voices, but I make sure to pay attention on calls. A few times the echoes of my breathing, or background noises were out of sync, and while normally I'd just count it as the signal mixing it up before sending it back to me, this time I'm not to sure.
What really made it odd is tha sometimes the echo would come through as I was speaking, which is why I noticed the "Just a second/moment" difference.

Anyway, just something odd as I was at work, thought maybe some of y'all like to hear about it, and yes, I am sure it's my voice.

Interesting. Words like "OK" and "Alright" cannot be misheard. I have a friend who used to work in a call center for years, if I meet him, I'll ask him about this. If he experienced similar things, I'll post it.
