A Diamond Toast

Hey mom, miss you. Dad, sis and I went to the Niel Diamond concert last night. The first thing that we did...that we always do was to have a toast in your honor. We know how much you loved his concerts. Over dinner, before the show, we speculated about his opening number. I said that it would be "Holly Holy"....it was, you loved that song. It brought a tear to our eyes.

All of the memories of sis and I doing our little dances for you dad when he would get home from work came rushing back. He'd put on the Neil albums as soon as he got home. We practiced those dances all day long. Wow, that was a long time ago.

This was definitely one of the best Diamond concerts that we've been to, except for the last one that we went to with you. He's still got it. the crowd is getting older, but they were on their feet.



Thanks , mom, for the appreaciation that you gave us for all kinds of music.....but I think that I will listen to some Boston now.
