A police force is introducing a youth curfew to cut down on anti-social behaviour which will be the first to punish parents for letting their children out alone at night.

Youth Curfew

Is this the start?

Dunno, has Redruth had any of the problems we've been hearing about in England lately?
If so, then what have the people of the town been doing to curb it without police or government involvement?

If not, then while it seems like a good idea at face value, and it's voluntary, could be a stepping stone.

I don't like the sound of this one, curfew stinks of the Nazi Germany, in fact I think they had the exact same time and age limits... inspired policy perhaps?

It's not voluntary, it just means if you register and your kid is found you have no accept responsibility for it rather than being given a parenting order.

Definitely bad a move in my opinion, and the police's attempts to explain it in the article are feeble!
