For U.S. Board on Geographic Names(BGN) marking Dokdo of Korea as an undesignated sovereignty as well as CIA and U.S. Library of Congress changing
Dokdo as 'internationally disputed region,' we, Koreans, are deeply disappointed and even felt betrayed.
Such a kind of act really worries us, since U.S. and Korea have been allies pledged by blood for 60 years and we, Koreans, have always trust to U.S.
for our lives.
Though there have been a bit of problems caused by few people who tried to estrange U.S.-Korea relationship, the government of ROK is trying their
best to recover the very bond we have.
In addition, Dokdo is cleary stated as Korea's territory by history and law and even U.S. had admitted that Dokdo is Korean territory in peace treaty
concluded between U.S. and Japan just after WWII. Therefore, for U.S.' such change, we, Koreans, have no other way but only to understand this
current matter as a measure biased to Japan. And for most of all, this issue may bring up ill feelings towards U.S..
