My point bieng is that this guy was going to keep his mouth shut if he got paid. The gov said no. So this guy spills the beans? It seems to me with all the money in black ops they could have just paid the guy off. Or made hime have an accident. Something is not right here?

Wow. This is very big news. Kinda bad that they wait so long to reveal these things. I can just image how unbearable it must have been to keep things like this bottled up inside. Can you image standing in front of one of these 8-9 foot things...wow

So... how did he see aliens inside the space shuttle, talking with the crew -- and nobody else on the ground or anywhere else did? Lots of the flights had live feeds.

According to Clark McClelland the missions were DOD Top Secret missions so there would not be a live feed available to the public. Plus we are talking prior to 1992 before the internet really took off. Where would people view these live feeds from? He does mention that there was another witness.

Not saying he is telling the truth or not. More information is needed before deciding what to think about this. He needs to show some kind of proof other than his word or it will be dismissed just like countless other claims made with no evidence to back it up. I e-mailed him some questions. It will be interesting to see if he replies.

Clark is very approachable, he responded to my email to him some time ago. Ask him directly all questions.

I have no reason to doubt what he is saying. He is well educated and held a prestigious position for many years at NASA.

His story is suppressed, all part of the plan.

Email him, ask him.

this is a hoax or at least 90% dis-info.

First Clark is a CIA spook.

Second there is no 27" CRT on the shuttle, anywhere in the shuttle.

Third neither deck inside the crew compartment has a ceiling height of 8 to 9 feet. The maximum floor to deck height is near the exit lock used for EVA and its a little under 7 feet.

Forth, the tethered EVA astronauts would be communicating by radio, thus an alien standing in the shuttle bay would also have a radio (same type) to communicate with them. No telepathy allowed due to the radiation shielding in the space suit.

Alien craft is not docked with shuttle, therefore the alien would need some means of flight to transfer between its craft and the shuttle which has a velocity of something like 23,000 miles an hour.

There is no "air" in space, therefore the alien would need some type of breathing device. Also the lack of air as a medium to propagate sound wave, would also mean the alien could not be having a free air discussion and therefore as stated above must be using a radio communication device.

And conversely the crew decks in the orbiter are very oxygen rich quite the opposite from free space outside, thus the alien would need a different breathing device inside the shuttle crew compartment.

The shuttle bay is probably the worst location to have an impromptu chat with an alien, being constructed of what is essentially styrofoam and tinfoil.

The orbiters are not like normal airplanes, they are more like flying papermache gliders it does not take much to punch a hole in its skin.

Radiation sheilding stops telepathic messages?

Nothing says it better than bad astronomy.
________________________________________________________

Apollo astronauts were heroes. That is very clear to me and should be to everyone; they took an incredible risk to explore and further the knowledge of mankind.

However, that does not give them a "get out of reality free" card.

Ed Mitchell walked on the Moon for the Apollo 14 mission. OK, got that? He walked on the Moon. I have no issue with that.

However, he also believes aliens exist. That’s fine too; in fact, while wouldn’t use the word "believe", I strongly suspect there are aliens elsewhere in the Universe as well. Where Mitchell and I part ways is that he thinks that the aliens are and have been coming here, the government knows, and has been covering it up for decades.

Thing is, his feelings on this have been pretty clear for a while now. But he recently stated them on the radio, which has led to wide reporting on the topic, like say here. There are a zillion other sources if you care (roughly the same number of emails I’ve gotten on this topic).

OK, yes, an Apollo Moonwalker thinks greys are coming here and probing us or whatever. Fine. He can believe what he wants. I think he’s wrong, but he has the right to believe that.

Two points on this. First, of course, the UFO folks will go ballistic over this, because, after all, Mitchell was an astronaut and walked on the Moon. But then, see my "get out of reality card" comment above. Also, this is simply argument from authority, which is bad logic. It doesn’t matter who believes in aliens. What matters is — hello! — evidence.

Show me the clear pictures. She me to nonterrestrial-isotope-laden artifacts. Show me a frakkin’ flying saucer sitting on the White House lawn.

Show me anything other than blurry pictures and videos, eyewitness testimony, and black-out government documents. I want evidence.

The second point is Mitchell’s history. He has long been an advocate for what can be called at best fringe science, starting with his tests of psychic powers on that same lunar flight. That’s fine — in fact I support things like that, if done rigorously — but clearly in my opinion he goes way too far. Government coverups of actual aliens? Really? Where’s the proof of that? The evidence is always circumstantial, and that makes me suspicious indeed. We have governments that cannot coverup a simple break in, a tryst in the White House, or trade deals between Iran and the contras. Those are cakewalks compared to the massive conspiracy theorized by the UFO crowd.

My point is not to make an ad hominem attack Mitchell’s credibility; he is a nice man and a gentleman. I met him and he was very kind to me, and he told me he literally kicked Bart Sibrel out of his house, which makes my heart sing.

No, my point is that I don’t really see why this is suddenly news. He’s been talking fringe science for decades.

So I want to be very clear here: I have enormous, deep, and profound respect for all the men who walked on the Moon, and all the men and women who put them there. But that does not give them a pass to ignore evidence and to draw drastically unrealistic conclusions without evidence to support them.

Unfortunately, the website alone makes me toss out the claims.

An animated space shuttle with flying saucers circling around it? Come on, now.

I realize that looks alone don't dictate the veracity of someone's statements, but first impressions are truly everything.

If I needed an attorney and am scanning the websites of local law firms, will I pick the one with the walking gavel smashing down upon injustice critters, or the one that is professionally laid out and sticks to presenting pertinent information alone?

It may not be fair--the first law firm may employ very capable lawyers--but the bottom line is they wouldn't get my business.

This is just a reality, and it's why sites and persons like these actually hurt the credibility and cause of ufology. The existence of alien life is one of the biggest mysteries facing humankind, and if we are actually in contact with such life, the monumental importance of this cannot be overstated. It's precisely because of this that any professionals in any field that may have evidence to support such contact must employ professionalism when bringing forward their claims. Surely this matter deserves that.

RESPECT! Be fair, this Gentleman is more credible than most of the stuff on this ridiculous website. Since when has this website become overrun with yahoos that throw out everything. There are TS agencies that would love you to think stupid and reject this all
I bet they have big meetings everday and give each other "knucks" and high fives because they STILL got us in the dark!

It wont be long before these small cracks in the DoD TS programs with explode onto the scene. HOW CAN THEY STOP ADVANCED CIVILIZATIONS FROM COMING INTO OUR SPACE? 2012

Correcting one minor detail though, the 27" monitors were not aboard the space shuttle itself, they were housed in the Kennedy Space Center.

Military missions would not have video routed through KSC, Military flights, mission details and control other then Telemetry and diagnostic would be routed through Space Command I believe in Cheyene ? Mountain at the time. Operations have since moved to Utah ?

This is starting to look more like an efort to discredit any future ex-Nasa employee in my opinion.

Or a Nigerian Internet scam.

Or simply a sick joke.

I don't BELIEVE it was Clark McClelland who wrote that, in my opinion, simply because I don't think an ex-Nasa employee would write like a 10 year old kid.

If it really was him, he certainly needs help. Not financially of course. Like he should seek medical help. I'm serious.

Come on people. You can't honestly believe all of this. The illogical premise of the story, the writing style, the conveniently missing info, his need for "$$$" from rock stars etc.

This has got to be a joke. I want to "laugh out loud" after reading the email but I wont. Because it's more like a sick joke than anything else. I don't think it's funny....

Deny Ignorance.

its too bad the guy has to revert to such childish like claims.... he must be desperate for money.. and running out of time... (age thing)... he has been out of the loop.. so it sounds like he is kind of ticked off.. as far as im concerned he is just another john lear,, or Greer.. who has kinda gone off the deep end... and has nothing else to do with there time... but make up false claims.. hoping that someone will take them seriously.. the crowd in here.. im afraid is way to much of there liking.. they seem to fall for anything..

Ok I did a quick search but didn't find this, so don't crucify me if it's already been posted.

A 1999 article in CNI News about McClelland's claims:

It may have been a problem with a security clearance, in fact, that eventually caused McClelland's falling out with NASA.

By 1990, he worked directly for the space agency in the shuttle program. He was then training to become a Spacecraft Operator (ScO), meaning he would have hands-on responsibility for space shuttle maintenance and ground operations.

His trainer was shuttle ScO senior specialist Dennis Bestwick. "I'm not at liberty to say a lot" about McClelland's dismissal, Bestwick told CNI News. "His work was fine, but something in his security check didn't quite check out. Nothing illegal, but something about the dates didn't match. You need a secret clearance," he said.

It could have been as simple as a clerical error in McClelland's records, Bestwick conceded. But whatever it was, McClelland lost his clearance and was subsequently dismissed from the shuttle program.

Bestwick seemed sorry to see McClelland go. "Clark was well liked. He had an outgoing personality. He's a little bit eccentric, but he's knowledgeable about a lot of things. He was willing to learn anything we threw at him," Bestwick said.

I don't beleive his story at all.
Except for his credentials, he doesn't seem to offer anything else.
Sorry, I've read way too many of these 'revelations' and got pretty tired of putting my faith in them.

By insulting those men the way you do here you definitely want to diminish the importance of the story in my opinion.
Amazing that you even received some stars for this in fact insulting remark.
Is this really how you think about people like Dr. Edgar Mitchell a former NASA astronaut and former ScO, Space Shuttle Fleet Clark C. McClelland?
Look to the credentials they have and there outstanding careers that you can only live through in your dreams.
Especially people with there background disserves absolute respect for being so brave in coming forward with such highly sensitive information.

Hmmm... seems like our buddy Clark has another agenda besides (quote) '$$$$$!!!'

McCain's Zionist Plan

# Clark C. McClelland, ScO June 22, 2008 @ 6:33 am I am from the US Space Program, 1958 to 1992! I have watched OUR space program being systematically destroyed, since the Zionist, Dan Golden was placed as the NASA Administrator by his fellow traveler, William Clinton. Golden is not the administrator any longer, but, his parrots are now continuing the total destruction of the space program that placed man on he moon! The indiotic future program that the low IQ George Bush has given his blessings, the Ares and the Constellation Programs will Vastly SPEND YOUR $$$, when the present Space Shuttle Program can continue and with a minimal redesign effort at a far less cost, can place US Astronauts back on the moon by 2013-14 much ealier than that of the MORON Bush effort. To cancel the Space Shuttle Program in 2010, is a suicidal destruction of OUR USA Space Program. The very effort that China awaits with pleasure! That, my fellow tax paying, birth right citizens of the USA, WE CANNOT allow to happen. Clark C. McClelland, former ScO, Space Shuttle Fleet, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
