RAM files extensions can be played with VLC. VLC is one of the best all around player I have found free.

The interview will only play for about a minute then stops.

Unfortunately it requires real media player to work.

Actually that's not true, I'm using Media Player Classic and listening to the interview at this very moment. I highly recommend downloading the K-Lite Codec Pack, which can be found here.
