I guess I missed that post - but in reference to the WTO riots here - Seattle has long been a white riot capitol - and the history of it goes back to World War One - Northwest has a long proud history of folk(used to be mainly white - now its all colors together) getting up in your face when they don't like how things are going....hmmm...could this trend be spreading across the country.....????

Its trendy to be politically correct but we all know that the black race in this country by and large do not want to progress. Just look at Detroit and who runs our city. They keep electing these same goons all over the country...

Osama pays lip service to the blacks but if elected he will do the same as every other president. Clinton was the first black president and he did more to destroy entitlements than any other president in history.

I wouldn't be surprised if the blacks did riot over the loss though. Not that I would care. They burn down their own cities. They don't dare venture out into the burbs when they go nuts. They would get slaughtered. They tried that during the LA riots and the whites were waiting at the end of their streets with automatic weapons. The punks just turned around and descided to pull some white guy out of a truck and beat him with bricks. The only thing that irks me is we have to pay for it. I say let them live in the rubble and see how many more times they do it.

Blacks run every large inner city in America and they are all crime ridden cess pools. What makes them think Osama getting elected is going to change any of that? They need to clean up their own neighborhoods. They have been a national disgrace for as long as I have been on this planet...

There won't be riots. There will just be all kinds of black people, some disappointed, some satisfied, saying "See? I told you so."

Some black people, like Jesse Jackson, will secretly find joy in Obama's failure, because it will prove that he is a failure like them.

Some black people, like the one's with no hope, will sink back into a comfortable complacency, losing all hope, and feeling that losing is destiny.

But some black people will be inspired, and they will try to achieve. They will try to follow in Obama's footsteps, and try to be the best at what they do because they will have hope.

he clearly wasnt a real "black" growing up. You can almost say you cant classify his african father a black. Would you say yes his father is a "black" African native? how many white tribes run around over there?

The whole world just thinks he is "black". We all know about the white mom. but that doesnt even matter. Couldnt we just as easily say he is white? Try to imagine if that were the case, would he still be getting the same support?

Just to add I was a hillary supporter, and wont be voting for neither candidate.

Also google for more information and read both sides' opinions.
I studied riots in America since the 2002 race riots

I found whites DID riot a century ago.
Reading for weeks, I found most blacks rioted because of blacks being beaten or killed by cops while commiting crimes.

Whites a century ago had rioted because of black on white violence they had gotten fed up with.
Huge difference in motivation!

Black people are, in the main just like whites, in that they just want to live and raise their families and be law abiding citizens.
The 'poor me', 'slavery done this to us', 'give us a handout and don't force us to work' BS that Cosby and other blacks who worked and made themselves successful rail against, fosters the get it when you can rioters' attitude.
Gangs usually foment a riot, but blacks who otherwise would have been law abiding join in when they perceive the cops are overwhelmed.
Then their pent up racism explodes.
Attacking Korean store owners in LA for example.
No group in the USA is more racist than blacks.
Perhaps because their skin color makes them easily identifiable to each other and to others who have learned to fear them because most crime and violence in the USA is committed by blacks.

Yes, there will be some riots if Obama is not elected. That is the nature of some groups and their strong views. This is a new scenario to our nation, for the first time many of our race feel we have our own voice in place to make a difference, to push forward some of our views and ideas that, for hundreds of years, has had precious little rays of light. I choose to keep my political views confined to the realm of my friends and family, so I will not comment on whether I agree or disagree with Obama, however I thought it appropiate to at least lend an opinion to this post from an African American point of view. And, as an African American, I think many here are quick to judge the thread as being a "racist" remark or topic, which, to be honest with you, strikes me as a tad humorous, as I found it to be a legitimate question, and not racist in nature. But, then again, what would I know about that topic...

Write in "Hillary Clinton" like another 20 million + of us will.

She got kicked to the curb by Democrats and would be an ideal 3rd party President.
Owing nothing to either side.
Able to work across the aisle because Hillary is a moderate.
Respected because Hillary has more balls than McCain or Obama

The only candidate who won't just say anything to get elected

The question is strange to me. Obama is not black, he's a mixture... a malota (sp?). I wonder if the blacks even relate to him, or even the whites. I don't personally know anyone, myself, who is in favor of electing a socialist, a marxist or communist to the office of President of our nation. Those who would riot, if it did happen, would be in favor of his politics, not his race.

As have white people, but theres a lot of factors in play that are favorable of that scenario. 96% of african americans supports obama, but whats even worse is that a lot of those people think aids was invented to wipe them off the map and the government blew the levys in new orleans. All combined its very possible.

It's a fair question, 'Will blacks riot if Obama is not elected?' Other questions need to be asked in order properly answer it though.
Is there historical evidence of black rioting? I think the discussion in the forum answered that question, YES! What were the causes of the past incidents of black rioting? There seems to be a lot of causes, some in protest and some in celebration. So, let's re-ask the question, "Will blacks riot if Obama is elected or NOT elected??"
As for myself, election day I will go vote, come home watch the news, turn out all the lights at night and keep my guns handy in case someone tries to break into my house. IF there are riots, and please note I did say IF, police and law enforcement services will be over whelmed and we will each be responsibly for the safety of our families and ourselves. I hope it doesn't happen. The Basseteer

I think there is nothing wrong with him asking these kind of questions!!! Want to know why? Because they are questions and if you think it is sooooooooo bad then why don't you try and explain in a more beneficial manner. Clearly these kind of questions might seem bad to you , yet I asked my own black neighbor if these bothered him, he responded " Not really, now it makes me curious"

Maybe this person needs to ask these kind of questions to dispose of his/her own biases! Come on be kind and stop trying to make this out to be a racist post...
