You should add to that list a good quality fishing pole and an assortment of tackle. A must have if your going to try and survive on your own imo.

I would rather before we let this happen or even if after they implemented ML, everybody just mob together and round up all the leaders of all the branches of government. Try to figure out where to go from there.

go to home depot buy nail gun, use paintball gun remote line to connect to a pressurized gas tank to have portable nail gun. buy lots of alchole based hand sanatizer, its highly flammible, stcky as hell, and very cheap in large amounts mix sanatizer with lamp oil, and petroleum jelly fill beer bottles with this mixture makes nasty fire bomb.

hand out these devices to as many like minded people as . rinse and repeat. create many other similar devices and become local gureillas "q division"

This scenario, however hypothetical, seems a more real outcome with each passing day. I have had this fear (always called irrational) for some time now. The reality is we are not powerless against this scenario. NEVER take the chip! If you cannot use a gun; learn. learn the basic survival skills every man woman or child should already know. Head for the hills and fight. the United States has some imposing geography that can challenge even the mighty big brother. Throughout history we have seen the strength of a small, loosely organized defense for against a larger oppressor. They will have the might to impose their will, but we CAN have the training and resources to resist. A protracted campaign can weaken any force, no matter the size. VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

A couple of more things. 1) however sinister the hands of the oppression force may be, they will quickly tire of killing people who look like them. Basic psychology of warfare.

I just saw this post so sorry I am late but I will point out the mistakes (as I see them).

1) Is a mistake because you should instead just blend into the population (ala Iraq). Much easier to do than going out into the mountains alone with no supplies.

If I were to head to a cave I would have a badass bug out bag prepared. From there I would cause as much possible havoc to the 'system' as possible while also keeping myself alive (unless a really tempting target presented itself in which case I would try my best to get out alive after taking 'it' out.)

2) Isn't a great idea unless this person is one of your better friends. If I didn't trust someone with my life I certainly wouldn't give my hand away.

3) No real arguments other than it would be easier to somehow get the local population on your "side".

4,5,6,7) As much as I would want to go back for family, I wouldn't. To much of a liability for them to even be near me in the even that something like that happened. Keep in mind I dont have kids. I suspect this would change my mind slightly.

8) Sounds good until you get to the "innocent" part. I would save my ammo for prime targets and mainly focus on breaking down the system. I would also work to promote dissent in the sheeple.

9) You should already be one of the sheep in the eyes of TPTB and working out of your home.

Sadly I am actually mildly afraid to post in this thread and have left out a great many details simply because I know this post will be recorded somewhere.

The economy we have today is not the same one we had pre 9-11. There are systems in place to freeze the stock markets, and banking. Since the dollar is backed up by nothing other than a promise the US gov can do pretty much whatever.

I can't seem to remember where I got the book from but if you search around you should be able to find it. It is very well written and the author was a Green Beret. If you didn't know they are the ones who we send into countries to train, lead, and organize a guerrilla resistance movement. Aka the perfect person to write a book like this.

Atleast we got some intelligent people in the world i saw this one post asking WHAt did you store this week and people were giving LIST of what they stored up I was LIKE WTF!!!??? You people are dumb that's like going on youtube and posting all the stuff you have trying to help people don't be surprised if a band of officers come to your door taking all your stuff.
That's why you depend on nomadic skills like i do make traps and stuf their are plenty of rabbits where I live at.
