In time honoured tradition, the Democratic White House hopeful wedged a prayer note in a crack in the wall when he visited in the early hours on Thursday.
Comment by pc4hillary July 25th, 2008 at 12:21 pm Perhaps if Obama and his campaign had respected the sanctity of the Western Wall in the first place, by not plastering campaign signs at it’s entrance, his prayer would have received the same respect. Since he used this holy place for a photo op, he is the one who was not respectful. It is true, a prayer is between the person and God. I have a feeling he expected this and therefore wrote what he wanted us to see. That to me, is not PRAYER. Forgive me if I sound cynical, but that is the result of this fraudulent campaign.

I will say this I personally thought it was a nice prayer and shows his humanity in asking God to help him do the right things......I have gained a lot of respect for him just from that simple little prayer and I was not a fan of his.
