Are ASEAN Aware Of Something That We Should Be ?

I have noticed some recent activity in the work of ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The countries in ASEAN are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. All of the aforementioned countries are at great risk of infection, although it could be said Indonisia is the greatest at risk. The official ASEAN web site can be found here.

Some of there recent activity is the contract that Rockeby Biomed Ltd has been given. This job for them is to go around countries within ASEAN and test people for bird flu. This could be the signs of preparation for a possible close outbreak.

They have also just announced that they are going test readiness on bird flu pandemic. It seems like all of the countries are banding together in preparation for an on coming threat.
