New ad space on the front page, mind control?

Am I the only person that finds the new add space on the front page, annoying and far to directly in line of sight. This is not an attack on ATS, I am only forwarding my concern, because that ad for some reason has given me a headache, it has also mad me mad.
I would like to know, other members opinions on direct almost center page ads in relation to mind control.

My firefox blocks the advertisement so it's just a blank square.

and I am more annoyed by Dave Rabbit sticking out his tongue to me but it seems Johnny anonymous agrees on that
