Aliens Exist, Says Former NASA Astronaut

i think its quite sad what edgar mitchels coming out with.

he's never seen a ufo or an Alien being yet he's procaliming they are visiting earth and in contact becuase of what someones told him?

someone tells him a story or rumour and he starts reciting it as fact. He should know better.

I think this all stems from the near religous experience he had on return from the moon. I've heard him describe what he felt and i think he made up his mind there and then there must be other intelligent civs out there. Then he starts looking into it and people tell him some famous stories like roswell and he falls for it hook line & sinker.

for him to say roswell was an alien crash beggars belief and shows how much crap he's been spoon fed and buys into.

jpm1602 wtf are you talking about. That buzz aldrin interview was edited so you never heard his explanation of what they were actually looking at. and It was no alien spaceship.

Not to burst everyone's bubble on the esteemed Dr. Mitchell, but he has a propensity for the fantastic.

His papers are littered with references to ESP, clarivoyance, etc. He's big on defining what consciousness is at a quantum level.

You can read many of his papers here.

He's also made the UFO circuit at the recent X-conference.

I'm not saying this disproves his story, but we need to take him for some grains of salt...

Hello guys, im at work, going through my stuff, browsing news sites, forums, see if there was anything intresting to read... i remember the interview an astronaut had with a UK radio station yesterday or the day before. i dont remember all the details, i just wanted to post this asap.

I believe 100% that we are not alone in this universe. I believe we have been visited and my continue to be visited. however, i would not be so quick to accept ANYTHING our government discloses to us. They may very well know of alien visits and contact, but i believe that even in disclosure they will still tell us only what they want us to believe, and not the full truth. Why would the aliens only stay in contact with the governments of the world and not the true powers which are the citizens?? The governments may have seen crafts and beacons and probes...maybe even recovered crashed probes and crafts, but i dont believe they are in contact with aliens at all. That's the hardest pill to swallow...our governments are known for being deceptive...so if the aliens do indeed come in peace, why deal with the worst of the worst of our global population?? The government will ALWAYS want to make us feel they have the power. By stating that THEY and only THEY are in contact with these alien beings, it only makes them seem in control of a situation that they probably are not in control of. FULL DISCLOSURE will only come when these aliens DESTROY or governments and save all the rest of us....

I think the reactions are a bit too overdone. It is like this is the first revelation of facts or opinion on the controversy of ufos. There have been thousands of stories that have claimed the existence of ufos or extraterrestrial contact. I would not be so naive to sit and wait for a government disclosure of known facts on a subject I can judge on my own. Believe it or not, we don't need someone else to tell us what's true or what we have seen to be true.

well, you either wait, or demand information, WE COLLECTIVELY DEMAND MORE INFORMATION! we need to press harder for these truths to come out, so we can move on beyond these "barriers" that plague us from the majority that can not handle the truth. a lot of people cannot handle the truth. most of us can, the new generation can.

If snide comments equals asking for a little itty bit of evidence to back up this guys statement then hell...im a non-believer...but i'd personally class non-believers in the sense you are talking about...as *rational* and *logical*....

Why take out oxygen from the air, cool it, pump it into a rocket
to go into low orbit when the air itself will lift up a Tesla craft.

This is to be expected, according to the government's standard policy tool for such matters (taken from the Brookings Institute study in the 1950's I believe) we are not capable of responding rationally to a confirmation of the existence of alien beings. Therefore we must all be 'conditioned' to reject any evidence to that point.

As for the detractors, well, there is no acceptable evidence (nor can there ever be), so that's all there is. Why they are compelled to vilify anyone contradicting that position is beyond me.

Didn't Armstrong, before he completely went into hiding, allude that NASA was "warned off" returning to the moon and that they only continued with the following Apollo missions due to being committed to it at the time and not wanting to risk a panic back on Earth?

The people who tout extraterrestrials are the ones making every one

So yet another astronaut speaks.. When will everyone start listening to these people?! You know i've been wondering lately.. what is the government going to do when Virgin Airlines starts its trips into sub orbital space? The flares excuses and military jets excuse will be kind of hard to argue then.

Whether you belive him or not, It made page 3 in the uk nationals today, almost a third of a page. My own opinion? This could be another deliberate link to Regans comments and a false flag disclosure

More and more former government people are coming out on this subject. Is it desensitization? Is the gig going to be up soon? I feel it is. More and more people are finding it hard to keep quiet on something that could possibly change the way we think of ourselves and our world. This is big and I hope more people come out. Im surprised the media picked it up.

CNN's Carol Castello was just on tonight with that same story and played a tape of his answers and statements.

Well, Now what happens. The UFO groups will go nuts with this news and perhaps TRY and put pressure on for the TRUTH.
