A lot of people have reported seeing alien entities.

Military personnel report having seen dead or injured alien bodies. Military personnel even occasionally report having seen other military personnel working in conjunction with aliens. People from all walks of life report being abducted by aliens. A ton of people.

How do we dismiss all of those accounts?

Dishonest? Greedy? Crazy?

Or is there fire where there is smoke?

I personally have a very hard time just dismissing everyone. Which leads me to believe that there HAS to be something to it…

Yeah I agree way to much been said about it for it to be just craziness or made up.And by many important decent people who wouldn't make things up.Of course its true.

That is why I treat the subject seriously. However, 99% of the videos and photos are hoaxes or have other explanations. It is hard to sort out the truth from the fantasy out there. I read all the stories and look at small things to help me decide who is telling the truth and who is pulling my leg.
Keep an open mind, but read everything carefully and don't be afraid to ask questions. One of the problems is if you ask a question that challenges what a person saw, you get shot down as a debunker.

This has nothing to do with sanity in 90 percent of the cases. Most of the time it's just a bunch of idiots who see planes and call them UFO's, rocks and call them artifacts, and Jpeg compression and call them cities on mars.

this is why disclosure is well on the way.. too many people..

the cover up kings forgot to take into account "over population"!

just too many eyeballs
(14billion) and to many mouths
(7 billion) to keep it quiet forever.

anyone who is a skeptic/debunker or CGI enthusiast hasnt helpped the coverup efforts

Everyone is insane anyway, whether they believe or don't believe.

Society in general is insane. So a good idea or a truth comes along, and they shrink into their little psychotic egotistic hole.

ya most of the videos and storys are fake but there are thousands of reports each year and out of all of them all we need is one to be true. If one is true then that will be the proof that we need. The people I believe most are the very important people that risk there jobs telling what they saw.

youll find the source of that information is 1 person: Frank Kaufmann. After frank died his wife let 3 top ufologists access to his personal papers. They soon realised everything kaufmann said was bogus, they found forged/doctored documents. Kaufman was a fraud.

You are correct that there are a lot of bad photos and videos out there and plenty of bad interpretations of normal photos and videos. That, to some extent, speaks to how well the disinformation effort has been. There is so much crap out there that a person entering the field of UFOlogy doesn't even know where to begin, who to believe, etc. However, there are some very interesting photos out there and NASA does have a funny fascination with airbrushing...

But I'm talking about reported experiences with (or involving sightings of) actual alien entities, which is even less believable to the general public than a sighting of an unusual aircraft. There are just so many reports from so many walks of life. There has to be SOMETHING to it, whether it is what it seems or not…

Your right, everyone who stands up and declares 'I say an alien' or 'We recovered dead bodies form the spacecraft' is obviously nuts. Thank goodness those in charge are honest, credible and sane. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, in my opinion nuts like Dr Edgar Mitchell should be locked up.

Especially those soldiers who witnessed strange going ons and radar operators, flight crews, I don't fly anymore due to the chance one of those nuts may be flying the plane.

Excellent post about time we highlighted this problem and i'm sure a whole lot of fellow ATSers will back you to the hilt as they have a complete disbelief in the subject matter without proof of the kind reserved for presidents of the USA eg the Iraq WMD dossier.

Obviously there are people here on this forum who continue to find it ridiculous to consider that aliens of any kind could be visiting this planet. They will not be swayed even as more people come forward every day to report experiences of their own with regard to this phenomena.

Will someone who dismisses such claims outright please explain a little of why they feel so strongly that alien visitation is not a possible explanation to these accounts? I am very interested in hearing from that point of view.

A former astronaut that claims that he saw an UFO, cannot be dismissed as an attention seeker whatsoever: we not only should think about it, we MUST think about it. But at the same time, we MUST trash all the garbage coming from all around the world: acting in this way, we MAY have some chances to find out the truth, or to get close to it. The truth is something of extremely difficult to find, but "difficult" and "impossible" have two completely different meanings. AND we have some chance only if we work in agreement: there is something out there, but no one so far has been able to tell what is it providing proofs.

Everyone is delusional. Most are just sharing the same delusion and so they consider themselves normal.

As someone who has been diagnosed as delusional or insane and on disablity, I find some comfort in knowing there are so many more of us insane people out there and on the internet searching for answers and the final conclusion to the UFO phenomenon and possible alien agenda. It's somehow as if being in group therapy....again.

We cannot be certain that those who have been in the military were not part of these ongoing mind control experiments all aong.

Having skepticism is healthier than always being naive. If you really believe and are in control of your emotions (like a Vulcan), than you don't need any proof from any conspiracy site.

I have heard people here say: Trust Noone. Is Mr. Noone still a member here?

I want to point out that this is a completely untrue statement. These reports come from all over the globe, from people of all ages and occupations. Not trying to flame but really, why would you indicate that all reports have Frank Kaufmann at their root?
