The US could end it's dependence on foreign oil...why don't we?

They aren't blocking drilling offshore. In fact they have TRIED TO FORCE OIL COMPANIES TO DRILL OFF SHORE on lands they lease for millions a year. THEY BELIEVE THERE IS NO POINT IN LETTING THEM LEASE MORE LAND TO DRILL OFF SHORE WHEN THEY REFUSE TO DRILL OFF SHORE ON LANDS THEY ARE ALREADY LEASING!

Makes sense. Like not giving a kid seconds when he hasn't finished what was on his plate in the first place. Let him finish the food on his plate(Drill on lands they already lease and refuse to drill) before giving him seconds.
