I'm not really pro-Bush, but I can say that he has actually done a very important and positive thing (unintentionally, of course).
His actions have reawakened the revolutionary spirit in countless numbers of Americans. He is so extreme that a lot of people who were sorta
complacent, non-politically involved suddenly stood up and said: "hey! wait a minute!" George W. Bush makes people think. George W. Bush prompts
people to social protest and action. George W. Bush makes people seriously examine the status of their freedoms. George W. Bush promotes (again,
unintentionally) American citizens to get politically involved and knowledgeable. This country has not experienced such a social movement since the
late 60's/early 70's.
So GWB has done some good.
And this is exactly why he will not be re-elected. Social awareness and political involvement does not fit the Status Quo's agenda. It is better to
keep the public fed on bread-and-circuses, concerned about trivia such as Monica Lewinsky's dress and Michael Jackson's "jesus-juice."
