Quick Question??

I'm new to posting at ATS but I am a freuqent reader of the postings. I had a question regarding a comment left on Barack Obamas Blackplanet.com site, it appears various times. The comment talks about Socialism and the destruction of Capitalism, so my question is that isn't socialism the verge of communism, and isnt Capitalism the a good thing?

Here is the comment:

"With Obama's leadership, we can destroy capitalism and live under socialism. Socialism is the way!

Socialism is defined by the Oxford University Press as: a set of political and economic theories based on the belief that everyone has an equal right to a share of a country's wealth and that the government should own and control the main industries.

Thankfully Obama knows capitalism is outdated. Obama is rightfully looking to expand our economy by promoting socialism. Since he is for nationalizing our oil refineries and our health care industry, America is on its way to becoming a socialistic society. Thank you Mr. Obama for making our dream of destroying capitalism a reality. Yes you can! "
