Could angels be aliens?

This is an idea I've been pushing around in my head for a while....

This is assuming that God and his angels exist as actual entities (which I personally believe).

Now just try to get rid of the image of the big-headed evil-looking aliens from Mars Attacks.

My grandfather has studied the Bible cover to cover and he said the Bible seems to suggest that before us, there was another "race" of His creation. Basically, another Earth.

Beyond all this, it's just an open thought. What do you think?

Hmm.. Do you care to point out the scripture that points to another race or Earth? I just never heard of this before. We as Christians (My circle of people, not speaking for others here) believe that aliens are actually demons. For the believers that I know, do not see aliens at all..

Some who interpret ancient text differently may disagree with the demon theory. Mary was a virgin, yet she gave birth. These "angels", Gabriel for example was described of giving off immense light. To believe in artificial insemination isn't as nearly as far flung as believing in a miracle birth in my opinion. I believe the named "angels" are still divine spiritual beings with a wholesome agenda for man kind. I believe they only intervene when necessary to change the world, or try to. To the OP, read the book The Gods of Eden, The Terra papers, and works of those. It's interesting how random topics from other sides of the world can correlate nearly perfect

Well nothing exactly points to another race on Earth, unless you come to the conclusion that the other race was an imposture of God. I recommend reading about the god Jehovah (God of Abraham etc). And How he traveled in a ship of metal and made sounds of thunder and smoke across the sky. Makes you wonder what our ancient man actually perceived as God, imagine living back then and seeing such a spectacle! You too would give in to astonishment.....err I think I mean enslavement.


Edit: The bible clearly refers to giants roaming the Earth (Other Race), I believe it's an early passage, I am certainly no expert. Not everything has to be "Alien" either, like out of some scifi film lol, could have just been another race of intelligent humanoids who lived on the Earth. Isn't the Earth 12 BILLION years old? We can barely comprehend what happened 2-3 thousand years ago. Our existence has been a mere blink of an eye.

you should reread Ezekiel and Zechariah, where angels/aliens come down in their UFOs and meet with us. really read what's said there! it's ok, aliens are not all evil! there's some that probably are, just like there's evil men, but most are so much more spiritually advanced than us, that our cavemen-like ways are of no interest to them - they're just observing. i highly recommend watching all of Dan Burisch's interviews on GoogleVideo, and visit his personal website at www.eaglesdisobey.net...

I believe that there are good angels and bad angels .the bad ones being tossed out of heaven and sent to the earth .....the bible says 1/4 of the angels wanted to follow satan when he was cast out ......

I believe its possible ...not even real sure yet ...but maybe ..those 1/4 angels could be what people think of as aliens ..(What the channelers have to say are what makes me think this..when I read between the lines when reading what they say to the ones they are channeling to )

also, keep this in mind, that ALL depictions of angels in artwork had wings on them - there's NOTHING in the Bible that says the angels have feathery wings attached to their backs. the only reason why we envision them with wings is because we've seen them drawn with wings. it's all just symbolism - how else are you able to depict a humanoid that can fly about the heavens without drawing their spacecraft? well, birds fly, and people back then wouldn't even know what that futuristic, metallic flying saucer is in the artwork. wings on angels/aliens in art just represent that they can fly, period.

There are other possibilities too ..
Maybe there were creatures created by Scientists of the Ancient times (like after the flood)they do that now so whos to say they didnt do that back then too ?
What has been before will be again nothing new under the sun ..

I mean that could explain alot of strange creatures we have seen lately .

I mean hey they have AIs now who are almost considered as human beings (well part human and part machine)

and i'm not sure if people are understanding that aliens don't all have big heads, big eyes, and small bodies. from what i've researched, most are just human-like. Dan Burisch says that there's a universal, genetic blueprint for intelligent life - it has 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 eyes, etc. - basically humanoid. is it so hard to believe that most of the aliens we talk about are just us evolved humans from the distant future utilizing time-travel technology to visit us in their past? actually, the common stereotypical "gray" aliens are from the Zeta Reticuli star system, and then you have the Andromedans and Pleiadian/Plejaran humanoid aliens that look just like US, with very little differences!

Honestly this thread, it's sister counterpart, which is also about this and few others are made me pretty curious. Why you human are start to believe in angels in 2008, seeking them, while you left them alone, left them behind in the last two thousand years and in many cases denied even their existence? What is this sudden great interest and speculation regarding to angels? So?

And to answer for the thread, no they're not aliens. Maybe only for "I'm suddenly start to believe in angels" type humans. Geez. They don't deserve this.

well if they're not aliens, what are they? the only other thing i can think of that they might be, is forms of consciousness that we envision. ...maybe they're the guardians of our plane of existence...

either way, the angels mentioned in the bible were aliens (time-travelers) that looked just like us. the proof is in the Words - not your preacher or Sunday school teacher's depictions of the Word.

Some of those I had met that I thought were angels I had asked. They said they weren't angels or aliens but that they were alternating life forms.

This might also suggest shapeshifters. That doesn't mean the ones I had met were the alleged good guys either. My hunch is that there are those who play both sides of the fence, so, it's hard to know for sure. Biblically, it was said that we shall know them by their works. So, eventually they will show their true side or agenda. Making people forget doesn't seem like a good thing either. I suppose if they know the future, then when the time is right and we are, things will fall into place?

Not the angels made the humans to forget. Some stupid humans forgot them, because they believed they're some sort of chosen one. And yes. Angels know the future. Yeah, the ones I had met said something about being guardians or the guardians of time or whatever and also said that the bible was some program or programed event.

I really don't know exactly what they were trying to teach me. But, they did give me or loan me some interesting gadgets though. One which I used to call my crystal ball radio. I'm assuming this was their watching device or whatever.

My brother used it and saw himself in his casket at the age of 33. He later died at 33 of a drug overdose. I no longer have these things they had loaned me. Why would they let me use them in the first place? maybe they wanted me to remember a past life as one of them. I dunno. I don't hear her voice in my head anymore. But, sometimes she or someone would give me messages through other people.

i personally believe that the gray aliens are the lower rank "angels" depicted in the bible. It would make sense because angels do no have a sexual organs, and according to purported reports, neither do the grays.

no !@#$ sherlock. Validating grays or angels is not part of the exercise. It is to accept premise A and premise B and draw parallels between the two . . .

If grays exist and angels exist; perhaps angels are grays.

If A is true and B is true, can A viably = B?

JPhish. I get it, but angels are not grays, also they can be considered as aliens in the eyes of many (This is the question of this thread.). You know there is a slight, very little difference between angels and grays. Angels have wings. Pretty large white one. Grays don't have wings at all. And Angels are love to show their wings. They're not hiding it to those ones, who to they appearing. Plus, they're the good ones. Hence, angels are not going to make abduction and experiments on you and others. I hope you see my point.

So, if you want to draw parallel between a spiritual being and grays, I would suggest to pick the demons.

If they had wings I hardly think that you could entertain one and be unaware that they were angels .
