Pray for my Sister......

I don't know if this is the right place to post out this topic, but I hope it'll not be wasted, and come in a positive way...

My sister, 12 years old, had been, and is not able to talk since she was born, yet still affected by some disorders i.e: mental, attitude.... For this cause, I would like from all my brothers and sisters out there, and specially the christians, to pray for my sister, in hope to get better and feel way too comforted and cured....

I guess she's not totally aware of her illness, but hope that with our prayers, to the lord, can give her peace and retain some of her dignity...

By the way her name is Manuella..... Hope for all the gd people out there, that lives there life satiated, will come with their prayers for the unsatiated..... God bless, and thx for the prayers.....Forward...

This is really strange, you know I was joking with God and telling him ( I wish I could become a mute because my mouth always gets me in trouble ) I always make faults with my mouth and slip up, I need to be careful what i ask for.

Gmil I must ask. Can she write on paper or on a electronic device to communicate?


and do not worry, her soul God will take care of and she has an angel that watches her daily. If she is made simple by her disease God might have a plan for that and use the suffering for good.

If she gets cured then a huge miracle will take place.

Yes, actually, my family and I find that she's too smart, despite of her current state....She goes to a special school where kids like her learn how to write and communicate in any means necessary, and so on....And us(family), we are like the only ones that can understand her, cause she lives with us

..
She talks simple words about 10 words...But the big problem is that, we are afraid if she stills like this, when she's a grown up, the society will not accept her, thus we're obliged either to let her stay with us, or send her to any special care...Now I know that my sister isn't the first one to have this illness, yet alot of people out there deserves our love and our prayers, and from this forward I would like to pray on behalf the "needy" kids out there, and may God bless them....

We also understand that, maybe it's the will of God, of her to stay like this, cause no one knows what might happen if she started to talk, for she'll find it quite new, and might get totally into this world's pleasures and state of minds...u know.... So let it be his will and not ours....But I'll reconsider, that few of our prayers might get in handy, and it's our duty to serve the lord....

I'm not religious so won't be praying but I do hope your little sister gets better and is able to talk at some point.

I am curious though with regards to the actual mental thinking process behind the whole praying thing, is it a case of the more people that pray for a certain thing the more chance you have of God listening and fixing whatever it is your praying to be fixed ? I also then have to ask the question of why did God make/keep whatever it you are praying to be fixed, broken in the first place ?

Anyway best of luck to your little sis hope she can speak some day and I'm sure given time as long as there's no physical reasons preventing her from speaking that she'll speak when she is ready in her own mind

Well, regardless of everything..Just, first wanna thank madness and all the ones that did care for this issue, and before answering your questions, just wanna say this statement, and all ye atheists think of it:

Anyways, the first question, about the prayers, it's the same thing as building a house or so, the more the people(believers), the less time the building(prayers) will take time, despite that we should not discard "quantity"..So this might answer your first quest(if you're convinced, but I say not

The second, about the birth thing, well, we both agree that there is "beauty" and "ugliness", and there is "gd mental" and "bad mental(insane)"; Now according to the birth, the ultimate answer to this difficult question is that when Adam and Eve sinned, they brought evil, sickness, disease, and death into the world. Sin has been wreaking havoc on the human race ever since. Birth defects occur because of sin...not because of sins the parents or the baby have committed, but because of sin itself. The hard part of the question is why God allows people to be born with terrible birth defects and/or deformities. Why doesn't God prevent birth defects from occurring?

Ultimately, the answer to this question has to be “I don’t know.” We will never be able to fully understand God and His ways. It is wrong for us to question why God allows something to occur. We simply have to trust that He is loving, good, and merciful–even when the evidence seems to indicate the opposite. Sickness and disease are the result of sin. God provided the “cure” for sin in sending Jesus Christ to die for us. Once we are in heaven, we will be free from sickness, disease, and death. Until that day, we will have to deal with sin, its effects, and its consequences. For the fact that we can't see him, doesn't declares that he's not there(spirit)...For, before the great tech and the great increasing in tools, specially in the case of doctors, let's say we're in the year 1850, they didn't have any means, in order to indicate that the patient has for an example cancer in his blood...For it only can be seen by special tools(i guess)

,does it mean that the cancer wasn't in his body? Yes it was

Ok well thanks for answering the questions I just enjoy finding out religious folks motivations so I can better understand them and what they believe in. I have no intentions to turn this thread about your sister into a religious debate so I shall leave it where it is and thank you again for taking the time to answer the questions and although I have more questions I believe they are for another thread and out of respect to your sisters plight not for discussion here.

Again I wish her well on the road to recovery and do hope she decides to speak and overcome this barrier in time

God likes to work miracles to strengthen faith so just like in the NT where Jesus said the blind woman was for the glory of God sometimes people are like that so that God may work a miracle if it's his will.

What strikes me above all is the love that you have for your sister. It emanates from your words and from the very fact you made this request. It tells us the Lord is already at work in you and in your sister's life.
