Wow I didn’t know this was even a site. I saw Skeptic Overlord on there. He joined April 28 2008 and has been very busy over there with 164 post counts.

Springer Joined May 30 2006 over 2 years ago and I had no clue this place even existed. He has 404 post.

Yes I saw many other members from here as well.

I have to say though that ATS here is laid out better.

The other site seems to be nothing more but a place to complain. They seem to complain about everything going on here at ats. Maybe I'm wrong I don't know, I'm just now looking at it. However, it seems this way to me.

Ats here has discussions and well thought out thoughts not so over there. Again, though I could be wrong on that.

aah yes, the reality undiscovered forum. aptly named so.

one internet forum watching and judging another internet forums actions.

what exactly would they intend to do with the info they allegedly uncover? just complain about it on their site?

some peeps need a hobby, me thinks.

Why would anyone be concerned about whats on here, when its just the pulling apart of the lies of the mainstream news media.
It could only be those who have robotic thinking and borg like collective objectives to make all people never question anything.
Once the grand old newspaper reporter would FIGHT to have his story printed.
Now he just takes some stock options and lets some goon edit it.

There are several instances of sites which are being 'watched'

the first example I can think of is www.Steorn.com - they are an Irish company who claimed to have invented a device using magnets which produced more energy than it used.
(think 'free energy' or 'Over Unity' etc)

now i'm not one to believe or dissbelieve at the drop of a pin, but there's a forum which i post on.

after a while it would appear that several concerned people that thought (and probably still do think) that Steorn could be a big hoax, set up a website (can't remember the exact URL) along the lines of SteornWatch.com - which is a site where people keep an eye on what's happening at Steorn, not necessarily a good or bad viewpoint.

several members on the Steorn forum joined the SteornWatch forum, probably just to ensure justice, and no untrue flaming.

So ATS watch could just be a website where people keep an eye on what's going on here, and flag up anything that they think is interesting enough (good or bad)

just my tupence worth.

I wonder what this "evidence of questionable activities" is that they speak of.

Rampant misconceptions and unchecked jumping to conclusions.

I've done my best to provide logical and sane answers for their questions, as has Springer, but we gave up because anything we said, and I do mean anything, had been twisted and rejiggered into alternative meanings that matched what they wanted to believe about us.

It's sad and unfortunate. Many of the once rational members over there seem to really resent the business building going on here as if "making money" is something automatically evil. However, if anyone can point to any evidence that does anything other than clearly show we're working diligently to promote what our members write, and building a business that does just that, I'm all ears (eyes too).

For any important questions along these lines, please use the ATS Issues Thread. We're not trying to limit or hide valid questions, but just trying to provide a single-source so that it's easier for members (and staff) to find such questions.

Thanks.
