Power outage for 3 days - no riots

Yes, that is right. Canada's third largest city with an estimated population of 2.25 million people have endured a power outage for 3 days in the downtown core. No riots, no killings, just a polite request for compensation. Ya gotta love Canada!

The reason for this was probably because it didn't affect the whole of the downtown core, only a few square blocks. Still pretty large but not on a large enough scale to cause mass violence.

I live here and am afraid to think what would happen if the whole of the lower mainland were to lose power for 3 days.

Yeah, we Canadians are pretty calm, cool and collected...unless there's a hockey or beer strike.
