I found this press release posting on rumormillnews.com about "Operation Moses" to restore the Bill of Rights and the sovereignty of the U.S. to avert a civil war.

Is this real?
Or is this a setup to incite violence by dissidents?

www.rumormillnews.com...

Poster Unknown:

THIS IS A NATIONAL EFFORT TO PEACEFULLY RESTORE THE REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED STATES TO THE UNTAINTED INTENTIONS OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS AND THE FULL FORCE PROTECTIONS OF THE "BILL OF RIGHTS"....

AS A PART OF THIS OPERATION BY PATRIOTS THROUGHOUT THIS NATION; THIS "PRESS RELEASE", HAS BEEN PREPARED.

THIS IS DESIGNED TO SERVE 2 PURPOSES:

* TO AVOID A "COUP" or "CIVIL-WAR"...(RELIABLE INTELLIGENCE REVEALS 70% MILITARY BRASS STANDING FIRM FOR FREEDOM AND SOVEREIGNTY...)

* TO RESTORE THE "BILL-OF-RIGHTS" BY CHARTERING A PATH BACK TO THE "TERMS" i.e. "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"...

THE SUBJUGATION MUST END.....

Consider the source. RumorMillNews.com has devolved into a morass of everything that is terrible about Internet-based conspiracy theorization. It used to be a fair site. Too bad.

Demand the immediate removal of all foreign troops stationed on the sovereign soil of the united States of America.

(foreign troops??? what do they mean by this? I haven't seen any large groups of foreign soldiers stationed near me)

Demand the immediate removal of the united States from the foreign body known as the "United Nations".

Demand an end to all United Nations funding both military programs and all other UN programs
(I don't think those two demands are such great ideas)

Urge all citizens to become self sufficient as individuals, as families, as localities, as counties and as states.
(What? they want me to grow my own food and make my own clothes???)

sounds like radicals pushing their own propaganda to me.

okay? so there is a school in the USA that trains soldiers from Latin America. ummm, I don't technically consider that as being foreign troops stationed here. They are training and then returning to their countries, what's the big deal? sorry I didn't know there was a conspiracy with this, so enlighten me if I am missing something big.

But if these writers wants foreign soldiers off American soil, I certainly hope they are requesting that all American soldiers on foreign soil return home. I think we have more soldiers in foreign countries all over the world than those countries have in the USA.

I've personally never seen foreign troops anywhere near me. Unless you count security services. I do often go to UN sponsored events and each dignitary has their own bodyguard and staff from their own government. Is that foreign troops? I don't know...
Are there foreign troops on US soil that have any kind of authority over Americans? Absolutely not. That would be ridiculous. Unless of course you want to close all the consulates around the country from other nations which technically are under foreign authority. I suppose maybe that's what these people are referring to?

I couldn't care less myself. The UN and Co. do nothing for or against me, and their leaving would simply give me more parking spaces.

I couldn't help but read the entire "press release" though and had some interesting thoughts about it.
First, I don't disagree with a lot of their points.
For example lobbyists have too much influence. I strongly dislike inheritance taxes. I don't like how criminals have more rights than victims.

I disagree with some stuff also. I think that the reason we have a president is because what happens if an emergency does occur and we dont have time to have 400+ members of congress meet and filibuster an issue until we're all dead. So no, you cant eliminate executive orders.

Unfortunately after their points, the whole thing goes south. They give their list of "acceptable delegates". I don't know if those people would be so much more trustworthy than what we've got now. Sorry, but if you're going to toss out one group of crooks, I don't need to hear you list the names of the replacement crooks. How about letting the "citizenry" you claim to be looking out for pick the people.

Finally they switch to fully maniacal and want to post up combat zone flyers wherever it suits them. Sorry if I'm not going to be falling in line behind these basket cases. How's about getting some normal people to express the more valid points.
