You are fed up with the world the way it is? You gripe about it day and night from the cosy chair in front of your PC?

So instead of doing nothing what are you going to do? What are WE as a global community going to do about all this SHTF rumors and NWO and the doom and gloom. Lets start right here, right now making plans. Suggestions, lets formulate a plan to save the world we live in.

Why would I be 'fed up' or gripe about the world when I am in a nice cozy chair in front of my expensive computer and big screen plasma TV? That logic makes no sense.

You wouldn't. But, others are fed up, they are griping and whinging 24/7 on ATS for a start! So, where are all these moaning minnies?

DON'T COMPLAIN and do nothing,
COMPLAIN, and then do something about it!

I can't believe no one on ATS has any ideas? What is wrong with you guys?

This guys right! I need to do something, I'm fed up!

Hmm I know what I'll do... I need a bigger chair!

The moaning and groaning going on is an attempt for people to figure out WTH is going on. Without that we would all be worse off.

For what it´s worth many of us ARE doing something, as a search of the forums will show. I personally am stocking up on supplies, not to save the World, but to save my family.

what are you suggesting? a revolution? wtf will that help with? the problem is that all the people with the power to do something, like things the way they are. the common person can not change the world.

Ditto. Part of the "doing something" IS the talking, discussing.... It's difficult to identify a plan to mitigate a situation which is unknown, against enemies that may or may not exist, in a political miasma of indeterminant direction.

What we are doing personally, besides talking to good folks like yourself, is to gradually take our power needs off-line and go solar. It's expensive. I'm currently in the process, between jobs for pay, of clearing land, by hand for our extended gardening areas. Today's fun and joys are thumping 10" tree stumps out of the ground with a sledgehammer, pulaski and 7-foot prybar. It feels so good when I stop haha! So far, two gallons of water consumed.

Look in the survival forum..... people working out plans, exchanging ideas, figuring things out. c'mon aboard. The water's warm, and properly filtered and purified.

If we threaten to stop watching the news and theaten to boycott anybody advertizing during the news slot, then maybe we can bring in this plan: Cause the new media coverage to have to be paid for by the government when it wants to have something told to the public. Exercize freedom of the press means the news doesnt have to provide coverage for what the gov anounces. Then maybe the gov wouldnt want to pay up so they wont B.S. us with what we dont want after seeing it'll cost to B.S. us.

Though I will do something the world will act shakened by. See my thread in New World Order. It showcases the smoothest hit act of all time. If you have the will to act, then you should understand it and get rewarded.

I didn't say people shouldn't complain, I said they shouldn't JUST complain.

And don't you think just trying to save your family is exactly the selfish kind of 'think of yourself' attitude that has messed up the planet Earth in the first pace?

Ignoring the obviously fact that revolution has actually helped a great deal in the world I have to point out I didn't actually suggest we start a revolution!

So, your ‘logic’ is that as other people want to mess up the world you shouldn’t bother.

That kind of defeatist attitude is exactly what is wrong with the world. Of course ONE person can make a difference. You have brought the lie my friend.

All I am hearing here are excuses and selfishness, apart from the guy whop wants to boycott news - at least that is doing something!

People, what are YOU going to do to save the world?

What do you do to save the world?

and in what sense you mean save it? save it from war? from global warming or what?

and boycotting the news is impossible.

start smaller boycott milk or gas.

It is very easy for you to criticise saving the world Tesla, but, how about suggestions to save it? More difficult eh?

What would boycotting milk or gas achieve?

Can people really do anything?
If the government want to do something, they do it....No stopping them.

We had a million people+ march against the Iraq war in london, it made no difference.
They like to make you think you have an influence.....but you don't.

exactly my point. there are hundreds of ideas to save the world but the fact of the matter is we the common people are in no position to put our ideas into action. i find it very difficult to criticize because it makes me realize what kind of fked up world we live in.

we could all stop driving and take trains bikes or buses.
we could not allow our friends and family enlist for army or not allow them to go.
we could pick up all the litter we see and recycle it.

we try to do these things but unfortunately there are still people who approve the war, who don't believe in global warming, who think that their 5mpg hummer is the best thing in the world.

i would love it if someone was able to fix all of these problems, but i also realize that one "common" person is not enough. the ability to change the world doesn't lie in us. it lies in the government

It is admiral of you to want to save the world. I believe most people want the same thing.

How do you know we are not doing something? Wouldn't it be foolish to advertise any plans we have?

I mean you no disrespect but you have been here just over a month. There is no way I would tell you or anyone of my actions or plans. There aren't many folks I trust.

There are many people who are doing 'something'. You won't hear about it on the Internet. Yes, there are some groups that are very vocal about their plans and they will be the first to be targeted by the powers that be.

Loose lips sink ships.

it is a fact that all revolutions begin in the heart of the ppl first. give it time. there are more who are becoming aware although they don't necessarily come on here. it is getting to a point where much more of this corruption is going to be hit back w/ a pretty hard blow.

until then, can't we all just complain away?

complaining doesn't solve anything though. and if you think about it most revolutions where started by the bourgeois (not sure of spelling) not the common people.

what exactly are ya wanting to do? plan an overthrow of THE PEOPLE WHO CONTROL US? how the hell are ya gonna do that? im sure if any serious plans pop up on here they'll get squashed...

if alot of what has been said and forecast to happen then I dont think stocking up on supplies is gonna protect you from a mob of ungry people in a rage wanting at it... hey not that we should give up hope but honestly yer picking at the process of everyone coming to terms with it? because as widley as it maybe accepted whats about to happen in the future.. its still not mainstream knowledge that everyone is acting on.... what action do you propose?
