Black Disc in sky over south wales 21:12 - 11-07-08

This evening my girlfriend was out the back of our house and her eye caught a black object in the sky moving towards her direction,from the north , Brecon Beacons area.She could not make out what it was at first ,however as it got closer and came into view, she realised it was a what she can only describe as a large black disc. it moved slowly overhead, with no sound until obscured by the house next door. She rushed out the back garden and observed what she could only describe as a puff of what looked like smoke, then it shot off at an incredible speed towards the south, in the direction of Pontypridd, Cardiff.
She does not believe in Aliens etc. She said it was as she saw it, a large black disc. She said she has never seen anything like it ever before. Anyone else on here in the area seen this tonight or before ?
By the time I had ran outside it had gone.
I don't think either way on this sort of subject, but tend to lean on the side of secret military craft, but I am no expert on this sort of thing

i dont suppose you have any pics? not that it matters but have you talked to any neighbours or any people you know in the area that might have been out that day

No, it just happened. she called her sister and some friends who live in the direction it went. But most of them where in watching TV.
I could never ask my neighbours about it. Not where I live, they would think she had lost it or just laugh it off.
No pics, she was just taking some rubbish out.
Dam I wish I saw it.

Damn the one that got away, the only thing you can do is treasure what you seen or what your gf has seen for the rest of your life and keep looking up to the skyes and mabe someday you will see something that will confirm what me and you already know. Try and have a camera handy wherever you go because you never know when you might need it.
