It's high time Rove realizes that he's no longer above the law.

In this case, enforcement of the law is by the will of Congress:

The House Judiciary Committee is not likely to vote on a contempt resolution against Karl Rove until late this month, according to the panel's chairman.

...
The Judiciary Committee could approve both civil and criminal contempt resolutions against Rove, which would then go to the floor of the House for a final vote. Source

So we can guess where that might lead.

A picture, worth a thousand words:

His attorney said Rove would testify if he was subpoenaed.

He was subpoenaed and left the country.

Starred. It really is crazy to see someone claiming that there is nothing wrong with ignoring a congressional subpoena.

The question is, can anyone in the Bush Justice Department be found to actually do their jobs, enforce the law, and arrest him?

No and the Democrat Congress will not, either because they are looking to the future, when Obama will be able to get away with everything Bush did, plus.

I think it also bears mentioning that Mr. Rove has dirt on 'everybody.' He'll be back, again and again. Unless he's in Paraguay..., on the Bush Ranch; or in Dubai..., at Haliburton HQ.

I'm sure Bush will get Interpol on the horn and have him arrested immediately. Now which one of these emoticons do I use for sarcasm?...

If hes done nothing wrong then why not just testify under oath? If you have nothing to hide what is the big deal what say you?

The fact is you all are dreaming. Rove will not get in any trouble at all. This is a dog and pony show just like all the other Roger Clemens, Oil CEOs, Bank CEOs, and other meetings that congress likes to do without anything ever getting done. Sorry folks nothing to see here move along and get back to watching Extra or Inside Edition.

Yeah the funny thing is that Karl Rove has the supreme court, the highest law in the USA, after hi and he isn't even breaking a sweat. The most powerful country in he world is after him ad he says lah de dah I'm going on vacation.

He isn't the least bit worried because he knows how things work in Washington and he has NOTHING to fear. He knows too much and no one will be able to take him down. Just imagine all the dirt he has on he president if he wasn't to pardon him. Like I said he is sipping margaritas and laughing at all this.

This is to good to be true. The man not only skips town, he skips the entire country!

What ever happened to the ethic of priority? Had this been anyone else, they'd be thrown in the slammer. I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Should I do the right thing and testify per the subpoena, or do I claim executive priviledge and party it up in Rio? Screw it! I'm packing my bags! *cha-cha's and exits stage left*

It's high time Rove realizes that he's no longer above the law.
No One Is Above The Law PERIOD ! These Crooks In The White House Should All Be Drug Out By Their Heels And Publicly Flogged Before The Entire World . Why Has It Taken So Long To Finally Start To Bring These Treasonous Dogs To Face The Music For What They Have Done To This Country ? The People Should Demand That Bush And His Whole Criminal Gang Be Brought To Trial NOW Not Later . Hang Em All !

The way I look at it is that, if Rove committed crimes, it was for the benefit of the military/industrial complex.
To figure out if he will be punished, look at Obama's plan.
All the money dedicated to the war will still be spent on the military, but just for different reasons.

I think there will be a day when all these people pay for what they have done. This administration has done far too much for people to not eventually notice. Yeah they can pull a fast one on us when they are in control of the media and what people hear about, but there will come a day when they are not.

With 70% of people dissaproving of what this president has done and all the evidence of him trouncing the constitution and starting illegal wars, there will eventually be an investigation and they will all get whats coming to him.

If you believe in karma....these people are effed
