Geoeye is marked as the the world's highest-resolution commercial Earth-imaging satellite.
Geoeye
I've just been browsing through its images that are currently online on the main website and I find it interesting that Iran and Afghanistan have
more pictures than anything else in the
National & global security section.
Why is Geoeye being used for this? Is it more superior than anything NASA or the military have got?
Why, in the picture of the US navy airplanes in China, are numerous buildings blacked out?
seems there's something there that they don't want us to see.
The only other two pictures are of the complimentary shot of the Pentacon and the twin towers area.
Seems a bit biased IMO
