Definitely Photoshopped. Good observation. You would figure they would try a little harder to make the image look more authentic, even if you need to take a closer look to see it's fake.

IRAN MISSILE TEST BLUFF: OLD ROCKETS, BOGUS VIDEO

The missiles tested DID NOT not have 2,000-kilometer range, the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report on Saturday.

Iran DID NOT launch a Shahab-3 missile, able to reach Israel.

It was an older missile that was out of production, newsroom sources tell DRUDGE.

And a video showing what appeared to be many missiles being fired -- is actually one missile, filmed from different angles!

NYT's Bill Broad is planning to quote military insiders.

Hahaha, nice pic

-----------------------

My only explanation could be that if AFP was SENT the doctored photos, it's an attempt by someone to discredit them as a reliable source of information.

If they doctored the photos themselves, well, vice versa.

The less people trust other countries, the easier it is to discount any thing they come out with.

IMO either Iran or USA is trying to bump France as one less political opposition?
Or France and USA consipred (haha, sorry) to make Iran look stupid. If one agency gets the bogus photos and the other doesn't, it looks very suss..

As one other posted commented, why would they have done such a ** job on it?

If Iran photoshopped them, surely they'd want a better photo than that going all over the world, national pride and all.

I found a video that shows what appears to be the same missile launches from the pictures.

Please pardon my mistake if this has been posted previously. I scanned through the thread, but I didn't see it.

I'd like to think Foxnews would at least question most of those. But I have my doubts.

If it's any consolation, I've found the original photo on the www.sepahnews.com and it clearly shows 4 missile launchers, but only 3 missiles in flight. Maybe the 4th missile did fail, or simply hadn't been fired when the photo was taken. The plot thickens.

Fantastic Kindred, star for you!

Ok so this leads to AFP being the ones that altered the image, but what would be interesting, i havent got time right now, but to look through the pics on Sepha, to see if any more photoshopping can be spotted.

Again thanks for finding them, i tried but couldnt find them.

there is no way Iran did the retouching, i gave the picture to my friend the one that has the truck and i told him "ok hide the truck and make it look like there are 4 rockets,1 in place of the truck" in about 30 minutes maybe less he sent it back to me, and without lieing it looked better and the smoke trail was different same as the dust on the ground than the other rockets it looked proportional and what not else. such poor retouching can only mean it was done by the media. ill try and get the image hosted and put it up

So did Iran photoshop this photo, or AFP?

Because AFP were the only ones at the beginning that were showing this photo, was the altered photo also on Sepha's website?

Maybe we will never know.

As an experienced Photoshop user, I can say that photo is very, very, very suss! (Get the point?).

I would assume it has been Photoshoped, but what wields me out the most is that if a government or news affiliation was to do this it is also very amateur job.

The Process:

- New Layer.

- Cloning stamp on new layer using the below layer.

- Remove any unwanted areas.

- (What should have been done as well) -

- Use other areas of the photo or outside stimulus to make cloned areas less noticeable.

- Change the global lighting slightly so lighting appears to be effected by the presence of other rockets.

Godzilla is powerful. This ups the ante. I had no idea this threat was as severe as it is. Freedom's on the march! Bomb them! (But maybe call Mecagodzilla first.)

Ownification - There is no evidence that the photoshopped image came from the Iranian website (www.sepahnews.com...). Only the original image is available. They might of pulled it, but there's no proof. So far it looks like it was AFP.

Doesn't it take a certain level of technical expertise to fake a photo?
