What brought you to ATS/BTS

This is purely for my curiosity and amusement and to get a bit of a background on who we are dealing with.

What was it that led you good people to this site?

My story as embarassed as I am to say started with a Google search for info on Nibiru of all things. I stumbled on a thread read it all and couldn't stop myself from making a comment so I signed up. That was only 6 shorth months ago and am happy to say I have learned aot of things about all kinds of stuff since then. Some thing I wish I could unlearn but thats why we are here I guess.

Well I first came to ATS in 2005, but I didn't know I did until a few weeks ago, if that makes sense.

I joined in 2006, but a few weeks ago I found a book I had about UFO's and inside was papers I printed out, and I look at them at they were from ATS.



I wonder if that page still exists?

So I guess UFO's brought me to ATS.

it's an odd story, I found my computer on ATS one morning, on a thread about the new civil war in America. I signed up to reply and havent left since.

Hi VIKINGANT. If I remember correctly, I was looking for videos about NASA/STS mission(s) UFO's. I can't recall what thread I first opened. It took me awhile to join.

Funny thing is, now I spend very little time in the ufo topics and most of my time in BTS just chillin and having a good time.

I stumbled upon AboveTopSecret.com while searching for everything related to 9/11 near the end of 2003.

I lurked and read for quite a few months, since I couldn't see where I could make a contribution, then I saw ATSNN (the old ATS news network), and thought "Hey, I can do that", so I signed up in June 2004, scoured the web for news material, some were accepted, many were not , and eventually was honored to become part of the News team here.

As a matter of fact this is the first discussion board I ever became a member of and lucky for me, I have never had to find another place to go when looking for knowledge.

Everyone has something to share, and everyone has something to learn.

A great mix for those of us who like to learn something new everyday

I came to ATS about 6 months ago when looking up information on MJ-12 and things along those lines, eventually branched out into Nibiru topics and all sorts of othjer things. I love ATS lol. Kinda trolled around for a while, then finally signed up and started posting.

As far as BTS, this is my first time ever hopping over here. Was kinda curious cause I saw that you can earn "BTS" points, so I figured I'd jump over and check it out. Looks like a more mainstream forum when compared to ATS, is that the case?

Either way, to you guys and to ATS/BTS!

I was looking through one of my website's site statistics one day and saw an inbound link from ATS and decided to check it out. I made an account to make one comment... one comment... and never planned to return. Now I am obssesed.

This is what I would like to know: Other than Whatukno and myself, how many of you made an account to make one comment and then ended up getting addicted and fell in love with ATS?

It seems that happens a lot.

Well apparently I signed up a couple of years ago (can't remember why) but forgot about it. Then I was looking for info on that Smiley serial killer thing and rediscovered ATS. I was looking for new forums to participate on and this one fit the bill.

It's an add story. One night I was sleeping on my bed as usual but it was so hot. I had my hand dangling down past the raised bed. My arm is much cooler that way. Before I knew it my fingures were touching the floor and a mouse bit my figure tip. I yanked my hand up and the mouse just sat there. I asked, "What the heck did you do that for?" The mouse replied, "above top secret!", then it scurried away. I didn't understand what it meant but I was sure this had some kind of meaning. I sat there thinking, "mouse plus abovetopsecret?"

I got up and went to my laptop grabbed the mouse and entered the site, so thats the meaning to the mystery mouse!


Hahahahaha! Ok not really. I was doing a search on a Disney Chip & Dale frame shot that has the naked lady in it.

This site came up and I saw the belowtopsecret section wich is what I'm more interested in.

I was thinking maybe to take this another step and for those willing (or able to find) to add their first ever post.

Having just finished reading all of this I would like to make some comments myself. Have only heard about "NIBIRU" recently I have looked everywhere I could to find info about it. Please be patient and forgive the length. Also know that I am more than ready to cop flack from both sides of this discussion.
All you naysayers appear very closed minded, as do some of the PX Deciples.
I too would like HARD evidence one way or another. There are many fascinating sites with info both for and against its existance. I even have some theories of my own relating to its existance and movements.
I am of the opinion (note OPINION) ,and have been for some time, that there is/may be another member of our solar system. whether it is this megaplanet or mini-sun with a 3600 year orbit I am not sure, but when you start talking Annunaki and cross breeding and DNA slicing I tend to think the story is a crock of Bovine Faeces even though there are countless sites with some "convincing" evedence of ancient artifacts with DNA looking artwork and 36' skeletons.
Even though I currently do not have "scientific backing" (JFJ,Harddrive) from my own personal observations over the past year or more I have noticed some global changes. The sun setting later in the evening major weather paterns have changed south pole breaking apart and the increase in natural type disasters. (Do not write these things off as global warming. The temps an Mars & Venus are also rising and I doubt that our cars and factories have caused their temps to rise.)
After reading what I have about this issue some things appear feasable although not difinative.
Do not for a moment think I have the answers or a hard and fast belief either way. I am still looking, but in reading the above I think more of you should also be willing to hear what others have to say. There is nothing wrong with a little blind faith but even that needs a little more than just " 'coz I said" or " 'coz I saw it on the net".
I am looking forward to see what happens in 2008, 2009 or 2012 whichever it is going to be......I just hope it is not world destruction.

My how things change. I have just read this again for the first time since I wrote it and I am amazed that some of my previous ideas have been changed and others have for me been reaffirmed. It is also funny to note that a number the ‘Naysayers’ I was having a go at are now in my friends list.

In answer to AshleyD, my intention was to post this and walk away until I saw an orange box light up with U2U on it so I clicked it to see what it was and was surprised to see my first ever ATS PM thanking me for this post and encouraging me to keep going so I did. So you can all blame Harddrive21 for my still being here!!

There was a thread in the official Age of Conan forums about a conspiracy by Funcom (the developers) to destroy the game and punish the fans. Someone posted a link to ATS as an ironic joke and me being the inquisitive person I am decided to click said link and ended up here reading all the fascinating posts by various people, some days later I decided to register and the rest is history

I was brought to ATS after a UFO sighting back in '04. Feel free to go to the NUFORC website to read my report. In my search for what it could have been, I ran across ATS. Always had an interest in UFOs, so this place fit like a glove. Been here ever since.

Oh, and I too have changed quite a bit since joining. I'm not as much of UFO reader as I am a political minded person. I find the NWO to be my cup of wrath lately. It's become an obsession.

I blame ATS.

yeah. I just recently discovered BTS as well. just having a break from the tension in ATS
I think I like it here

For me, I was out looking for UFO stuff and guess what came up on google? Non other then ATS..... I thought it was really weird at first but slowly I started coming here more and more and thats where I am now lol

George Noory sent me at first. Then I'd figure i'd stay b'cause of all the hot chix.

I have always been interested in topics that were "Off the beaten path" so to speak. But I didn't own a computer till a year and a half ago.
I got SICK of my ex preaching to me about government conspiracies, NWO, reptilian bloodlines..(Yeah a lot of Icke influence there) and bible code stuff.
So I googled, and ATS came up.
It was like walking into the front door of home.
I signed up two days later, and I have been here virtually every day since.

I had a conversation with a guy named Square Citizen on Myspace about seeing a shadow person, which I called a shadow ghost at the time!

He had linked me to a thread on here, and I lurked until Feb of this year!

I like reading all paranormal things, not really much of a talker on ATS though!
I started there and got stuck in BTS for some reason lol!
