Stress, lack of sleep, poor diet all contribute to eye twitching. How? Because, in most cases, eye twitching is a sign of some underlying problem.
It's associated with epilepsy(I would know, I've had epilepsy). It's neurological and, in most cases isn't anything to worry about, unless you
start having seizures.
Most of the world suffers from some sort of mild epilepsy. You know that falling asleep and waking up with a jerky, almost as if jumping, or you feel
like you're falling and you're startled up? Yep, epilepsy, but very mildly. It's the same neurological problem that causes seizures.
Neurotransmitters produce too much electrical discharge, causing the body, or parts of the body to convulse. In this case, eye twitching.
What you should do? If you're eating poorly, or irregularly(skipping meals), don't. Get rest, and don't worry about it. A lot of people have eye
twitching. It's usually nothing, and in most cases, results in nothing. So, don't worry about it.
