For what it's worth, skepticism shouldn't label someone as a troll. Ask yourself: If someone had related this story and it wasn't you, would you take it at face value? Would you ask for proof? If they provided pictures of some scratches, and said all evidence of a tussle including blood was just removed.. after they were put to sleep.. you'd just believe them?

People are not trolling for responses, they are quite understandably skeptical of your story on many levels. I hope you can see why.

Ok, i didnt quote the exact lines but What i said was exactly what she implied. So let me just ask you straight up. Did you stab it in the neck/jaw area or did you slit its throat? There easy enough question. It is trhe original question i had and didnt get an answer to it. Not a direct answer anyways.

Im not trying to put words in your or your wifes mouth. Im sure you know just as well as i do how hard it is to keep your mind straight with facts after reading so many post at once.

Fact is you are the poster of these claims. What you have shown as evidence so far hasnt proved alien encounter. Pictures of some red spots on your body and foot that could be from anything. Come on!! what do you expect people to think?

Ok, let me go beyond all of this and say to you, Alien is attacked by you and escapes. Doesnt do any harm while your sleeping just cleans up to leave nothing behind. Doesnt that tell you something at all? It was not there to harm you. In my opinion i would go back out to the woods and try to make contact again. This time With hidden cameras, maybe some sound equipment. And another thing you may try if you think it may attack you, I really good tazer. Just because it can jolt you doesnt mean it can take it back.

Fact is it can come to you anytime it wants. So no point in being scared of it, Go and try to get more answers. Me personally would risk my life to have this encounter. A once in a lifetime event well worth dying over.

Im not gonna keep asking more questions. I think others will ask all that can be asked and i and many others can make up our minds from that.

I apologize if this has already been covered, but I don't have the time to read all 37 pages.

What were you wearing when this encounter occured?

Were you still in the same clothing in the morning when you awoke?

If not, do you think whoever did the cleanup took off your clothes, cleaned them, and put them back on you?

Did you think about calling the police and reporting a home intrusion and leaving out the fishman/alien part? Maybe tell them something like "a dude wearing a fishman costume broke into my house" (which is the first thing I would have thought it was, not an alien being).

Its nothing short of amazing. I would of done the same to a human if they had been stood there, so no, I don't think it was strange at all.

you make some good pts like after i posted it i mulled it over for a while and if i saw exactly what you saw ie which was nothing overtly threatening, just a lean over your wife, i would have been scared and said WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! then pushed it and seen what happened.

So its kind of understandable, but not the instant DEATH MODE from 1 to 100 with nothing in between is the weird part. of course if something was over me wife id protect her but only if i knew it was a surely malevolent thing thats all.

the other pt is that if you think about it more its obviously not familiar with our customs and way of life more than likely so maybe to it there is nothing strange about simply leaning over and looking at someone while they sleep? fish sleep in groups together in schools with constant contact.. so just a thought. as in a misunderstanding that in my eyes went horribly wrong.

everyone else seems to disagree with me on this thread and think the instant violence is the answer but i find it sad personally.

Dan i still dont understand how a sound can be heard from something that would not have a voicebox. it has no nose so therefor has no voicebox.

By the way i told you to goto those "grave" sights for a reason if you actually saw what you say. you will understand. Just take a look around maybe there is something there you may find intellectually impossible until you look closer.

That's what I was getting at when I asked Dan a few pages back if he had any (after the fact) feeling of familiarity with the being -- if, perhaps he felt on some level that he "knew" the creature or something of it.

I congratulate you sir! My first encounter I remember I attacked a creature and tried to choke it dead. Few believe me but I don't care, I was there. Also I understand the going to sleep, the same thing happened to my wife and myself. Peace, Tony

Bro, I truely admire your courage in trying to fight and kill this creature. I must tell you though, he's not dead, he is without a doubt still alive, they are killable and you may have come very close to killing him, but I am certain he is still alive, he's not rading your post either, what they wanted with you and your family, we may never know. I truely believe God gave you the power and might to fight off this thing, they are very powerful, but we have a greater power through Christ.

A few questions, did his skin have a transluscency to it?
How big were the scales?
What color were the eyes?
Did he ever say any words?
Do you recall in any greater detail what his clothing was like?

This being my friend isn't really an alien, he is a fallen angel, cursed to be able to die as humans do (Psalm 82), visit www.alienresistance.org there you can find out what I have learned about these things, I believe these beings come in many shapes and forms, or you could say species.
Your story is probably very hard for many here to believe, but I believe you, I've been abducted by these evil creatures and they have done things to me, I'm glad you were able to fight one of these things off.

A word of caution though, they might be back, when they do, tell them "In the Name of Jesus I command you to leave and never come back!", they will leave and never come back, trust me, it works, at least for those of us who believe in Christ as our Saviour.

Any thoughts on a connection between the 'christmas lights' in the woods and the 'spinning light cube' in your house? Could these be the same entities. Just wondering if you go a close look in the woods.

I think the violence issue raised by some folks is . . . close to 100% thoughtless ignorance.

Virtually all . . . what 99% of all reports of interactions with ET's of any type indicates that if one hesitates the least bit, then one is immobilized.

I think your quick responses are EXCEEDINGLY COMMENDABLE.

About all a lot of jokers would have if THEIR family was the least bit threatened/potentially threatened . . . would be an empty, wet bag of regrets . . . and that's IF they had their lives left to feel regret with!

Good job. I expect your wife is quite justifyably proud of you.

And that a lot of spouses of a lot of wimpy clueless jerks are jealous of your wife.

I'm not positive this is completely relative, so bear with me. I was on a SAR team as first responders to West Coast earthquake. Parts of the duties were harrowing, and that's a potental danger and expectation when going into such an event. I have seen grown adults that are tight and efficient during the event break down completely afterward, and I have been one of them. D'you know what many of us did after the fitful sleeping and sometimes even exhausted mentally and physically BEFORE sleep? Played video games -- an illogical response to stress and horror and pain, injury, death. Something somewhat normal, perhaps even a tad mindless.

Just food for thought.

I'll continue to follow this story, and again thank OP and family for sharing this.

No. In no way shape or form was I going to be stupid enough to phone the Police, tell them of an intruder, have them check all the doors and windows, find nothing, and charge me for wasting Police time.
