Your wife needs to stop watching the ABYSS! Great movie though...

So these people are Church goers? With a heavy set of murderous knifes? Each named ridiculously after some Christian event? Is it just me or is this guy the type who'd snap and murder in the name of GOD cause he heard voices saying that Fish Like people wants to suck his brains out? Then goes off and murders innocent people.

If THIS is the state he's in, he needs a hell of a lot of counseling with a heavy dose of "DRUGS" to calm him down.

The amount of rage he described is obviously tied in with paranoia and the way he and his wife writes... well... that's for another day, but for now...

They're not to be taken seriously... Just cause Dan has been pretty quiet and a good poster before, doesn't mean that it didn't take him THIS long to finally get to where he is in order to write his fake story.

He just had to be inspired.

Ah well.... Glad I'm not your neighbor Dan. You need to be examined!

How do you sleep now?

If this happened to me I would find it impossibly hard to sleep or to try and sleep again, are you on prescription medicine to help you?

I was in a situation somewhat like yours but not involving 'aliens / creatures' and could never sleep in the same room again.

You truly are a strong person.

Did you go into these woods the night of the attack ?

On another note some members replies are disgusting .
I don't participate much on these forums, but they are nothing like they used to be.

**Ok back to the subject at hand. Did this think bleed at all, I mean 30-50 knife blows usually makes quite a mess, cast off spatter on the ceiling, walls, carpet, ect.

The only thing I'm finding hard to believe is the pristine clean up job?

Were you able to salvage ANY of this creatures fluids, blood, goo, jelly, a scale?

I suppose it's possible when it vanished, and/or teleported out of there, everything that was a part of it, even goo on the wall went with it. I'm wondering why "the good news" went with it.

And I am glad to hear you have some friends staying over to protect your wife and kin.

I wish I had the point to get to read RATS, but everytime I gain points, I lose them due to getting out of line with someone, and haveing points deducted. But thanks for posting it here for us to read.

**Oh, btw are you a Star wars fan? did those face flaps, or slits look anything like the guy who was co pilot in the Millenium Falcon with Lando (Billy D Williams), in Return of the Jedi I think it was RoTJ. Did the face look like that, but only more "fishy, and larger eyes, and scales? Wish I could find a picture of that guy.

Sparkly, it did have nice clothes on. It also had some thing that shot a discharge at me burning my arm and foot.

Self defence measure ? well maybe possibly it was. In my defence, I am not going to wait around and start trying to converse with it in the dark, at night in my bedroom.

I hope if its alive still it learnt its lesson well.

i'd also like to point out that the reason so many here are believing of Dans story is his history on ATS. You can check it out by looking at one of his posts then clicking where it says: "posts" underneath......the only impression i ever got before now of this poster was that he was prepared, able and ready to defend his property and his family.

As he has now done.

I believe him. People should read Jacques Valee book, Dimensions....you will be well surprised at the things people see, not because they want to see them, but just because sometimes weird stuff happens to normal people

It could not be any weirder that it already is. The cleaned room is what really, really bothers me the deepest. My wife swears she saw some thing 'nearly human' and it really deeply bugs me.

However.. a zoo ? a no touch thing going on ? wow... thats a novel theory.

The no touching is that I am assuming the orginaztion had rules, if htey are the same as a zoo here I dont know, but that is what I ment by that, jus that they must have had rules but Mr. fish not so brightly tried petting the baby lion I guess you could say.

Maybe it was sneaking around to help cure some unknown disease they had. Probably not true of course haha, but you can see how it's possible that they might be peaceful, they just don't want to be seen for some reason, you could understand that, if they know anything about human history, they would know humans won't accept them easily.

But they made the mistake of going into the house of someone who will protect their family no matter what. So their fault.

I don't participate much on these forums, but they are nothing like they used to be.

I sleep poorly in the dark now. I nap when little one naps in the day time, and a couple of hours before dark when the wife is home. As for medication ? no, I am on nothing from the Drs.

As for flamers ? well they are entitled to discuss and even chuck arguments against me, but some of the responses have been in all honesty what i expected.

Hence I kept it in RATS.

I am prepared for alot of things, as I have had a varied and active life doing many things most people just shake their heads at and pass on by.

My SITX threads alone will tell yuo alot about me and my past.

I like the hynotherapist idea. If your into that kind of stuff it would be a good way to validate the story in a more detailed way and maybe unlock some memory, maybe they came to erase something that you saw in the woods.

I agree with you. Even if it was benevolent, you had every right to act the way you did. Because how would you have known? It breached you and your family's personal space and privacy so it's definitely understandable.

I might sound like I'm makin fun of you, I'm not, it's just sometimes humour helps ease the tension or stress from such things.

I'm just wondering if at some time in the future they contact you from a safe distance, and they try to communicate with you, in a peaceful way, they say sorry, then you say sorry, and then you and the creature who now has an eye patch also say sorry, you both shake hands and then go to your house and talk about things over a cup of tea.

Would you accept an apologie? (that is if they are good, and that they are actually of high intelligence )

I agree, if you concider my theory Dan still had the right to act the way he did. Is there a moral in this story that we humans should re-evaluat how we treate animals here on earth?

Oh and Dan, your weapon collection reminds me of my brother, he does the same thing, collects tons of random weapons and has them under his bed.

I believe you on the "just going off to bed part." Why you might ask? A friggin gigantic dark flying saucer "parked" right above a busy city street and everyone was looking at it but they seemed to be in a trance. I was the only one aghast at it that I remember, my sibling even restrained me as I wanted to get out of the vehicle to get a clearer look. There was even a power failure in the area.

It took off after about a minute at "warpspeed." Made a deep hum.

It took me about a week to finally talk to my sibling about it. Go figure.

Happened decades ago.
