I was laying on my back looking at the at stars when it happened again. This time there was no doubt it was directly above .Four distinct flashes of light just like seeing a camera flash from a distance all within a few seconds.

no doubt I've been seeing the same thing as well...on clear nights in fact I've heard thunder overhead on a clear day(no clouds) and no lighting....strange indeed!

that's a very good video, Harvey. can you provide any additional details that the relatives observed that you can't see on film? That is a strange craft, and the video looks real to me.

I live outside of madison wi... Never posted on here, just usually read others posts but the last week it has been a very active sky. But what got me to make an account was to say that last night husband and I watched a bunch of just quick but odd bursts in the sky but then for a good at least 20 mins we watched what looked like a low, super slow satellite looking object that like a lot of you looked just like every 30-60 seconds looked like a camera flash. Only way to put it. Different than the bursts and mini "star flashes", nope this was like a bright camera was going off. I've seen odd things before off the coast of the 101 on the west coast and some really mind blowing objects in the middle of nowhere Arizona, but last night just makes no sense either. Just so blantant and bright. And seemed low to is also. But made NO sound, went slow and seemed to even paise a few times, changed its direction very smoothly and as said looked like it was using a super powerful camera flash. Takes a lot to really weird me out to a certain wth level but im there now. None of the "normal" excuses fit anywhere near what this craft was doing. I know I didn't have any new info to add or video but at least wanted to share location and that I've seen it also. Fingers crossed that more people have also seen it and maybe video. Happy and safe sky watching to all.

I have seen a triangle in its full glory hovering 100 feet over my head. I have seen one with everything cloaked except an amber glowing light slowly moving even lower. I've seen 2 of them only with the pulsing red center light at treetop level a few miles from my house. I've even seen one hugging the top of a local mountain ridge displaying that large glowing white plasma like ball that the video of the triangle in YouTube as "ufo paris". These are about the size of a f15 give or take. I saw them do a high speed vertical climb pirouetting each other, playing. The bad news is these are being used by the state & local police along with other agencies for surveillance of undesirables in my area. Highly disturbing barely scratches the surface. Even worse people aren't even aware their constitutional rights are being destroyed right over their heads. The other tech being used is just as crazy and probably is also illegal to be deployed against civilians. Really messed up

Hi all just wanted to add my reply as I've seen a lot of people from the US mentioning they have seen these flashes. I'm in the UK and have seen these flashes too. I like to go out and smoke of a night especially when I work till late at night on some days.

When I first started seeing them i put it down to my eyes playing tricks on me especially when I'm out I'm usually glancing at my mobile and then looking away from it. However quite recently I was out and I saw a flash in the corner of my eye, again put it down to my eyes playing tricks. Not being happy with that answer I turn my body toward to direction I believed it came from waited a little while and saw a flash again. Now i definitely saw the flash .. Couldn't work out where from though as the horizon was blocked by a tree line not too far in front of me.

I had one idea of what I was seeing, over here in the UK we have a lot of speed cameras for catching the people speeding on the roads. There is one located not too far from me, I've lived in the same area for over 30 years I know which direction to look for certain things in my town. Also these speed cameras tend to give off two flashes in quick succession .. I've only ever seen the flashes in the sky flash just the once

So I turned my body to what I believed was facing toward the road and toward the direction of the speed camera (there's a few rows of houses between where I was and the speed camera), I saw the flash again but no where near where I thought the camera would be

Anyway I'm still stumped at what I keep seeing but I'm sure there's a logical explanation for it all .. Just thought I'd share

I saw something very interesting tonight that lead me to this discussion.

I live in Crystal Lake, Illinois and tonight it was snowing lightly for the first time in awhile, the sky was covered in a thin layer of clouds, and the air outside was still and brisk.

At around 9 pm I was inside near my kitchen area playing with my puppy alone when I saw what appeared to be a gigantic white camera flash coming from outside, illuminating everything, including the parts of the sky I could see from inside. There was no flash inside the house, it definitely came from outside/above.

It was a quick flash, but it was bright. I've also seen heat lightning many times before, but heat lighting usually would only light up the sky and what I saw lit up everything outside very brightly. Also, I personally have never seen heat lightning in the winter time, it may happen I'm not sure, but this was not it.

As I was inside, I didn't see exactly how much area it covered overall, but it was so bright that I actually went outside to make sure there wasn't anything weird going on.

My first instinct was someone was in my backyard taking a picture of me, but when I thought about it more I realized that it was something more, and I really have no explanation.

The mystery lives on!

I see this regularly but seems to be peripheral before I can get a pinpoint. Seems like someone taking snapshots! Interesting stuff..

This is most likely one of four things: Sprites, which are cloud to cloud bolts of lightning that never actually reach the ground (Requires clouds of course), Radiation beams from Quasars or other cosmic events such as supernovae, A light being flashed on wherever you are repeatedly (Like a spotlight or a showlight that moves back and forth, but this requires the flash to be directional), Or depending on your latitude, a form of the Aurora Borealis that is as yet undiscovered. One last possibility if any of you are middle aged or have problems with your eyes, is that the neurons in your eyes are firing and creating a "Flash" of light from unusual neural activity. I read into this because I thought that the world was effing ending one night and I'm like "SHIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVV!" because I don't wanna die so I looked this up.

Add me to the list.
This past wednesday at around 9:45pm , my 25yo nephew came knocking on my bedroom door saying "You gotta see this". I was hesitant until he said "lights in the sky".

I hopped up and walked outside and looked up but did not see anything.
But when my eyes focused and was able to see the stars, to the west just above the night clouds I saw a flash like someone was up there with a camera flash, only different colors (red, blue, green). Then to the left another, and yet another.

All of these flashes were spread out and they were quick flashes. Sometimes, they would dim out quickly, and sometimes they would go out in the blink of an eye. And these things were slowly moving to the west.
All in all because of my bad eye sight, I counted 5 or 6 seperate sources, but my 21yo son and my nephew said there we quite a bit of them out there. My nephew described it as if there was glitter in the sky.

One of them (a red one) stayed lit long enough for me to see what I thought was an hourglass shape in the middle as it dimmed out.

My neighbor also came out and witnessed the event, but my 15yo daughter was too afraid to come out.
The whole thing lasted about 10 minutes, and all the while we were trying to take video with our phones but it was too far away and dark.

These lights looked like they trying to blend in with the stars, but they were really low and I could easily tell that they in our atmosphere.

I have been out with my camcorder looking for them since that night but nothing so far.

Hello Guys,

Upon reading many of the posts here. I too am a witness of these flashes in the sky!

I live in Miami, FL and I've seen many weird spectacular appearances in the sky. On June 17 of this year, I've seen a Ufo flying near overhead my apartment. It was not flashing at all but moving across the sky at a low altitude as planes traverse; then all of a sudden it slowly faded out. That was the first time I've seen a real UFO close up.

After that 6 days later on the 23 of June I saw what looked like a red orange star in the distance. I thought it was a plane at first, but planes do not shine red, but they do have red blinkers. Anyways this red object in the sky was moving across the sky then disappeared out of site. There was not much clouds in the way that it would just disappear.

Then on the 4th of July, at around midnight, while fireworks were coming to slow that night. I saw a real airplanes flying from my right to the left in the sky, and in front of that plane, there was a dimly lit UFO flying at the same speed as the plane. I knew it to be of higher altitude, but I found that to be quite surprising and interesting. It seems these things aren't trying to hide at all. They are definitely in plain sight.

During and after those UFO occurrences I've seen many unexplained flashes in the sky. Like many of you are explaining to be camera like flashes. These flashes that I see are pretty high up in the sky. Tonight I've seen about 3 successive flashes flashing right after the other. I do not know what they are.

One thing is for sure that I want to mention is that Jesus Christ in the bible did say that we would be seeing signs in the sky and on the earth below in the end days. So These things are happening for a reason. So I tell you guys Stay in prayer and keep looking up because Jesus is soon to return for his bride!!

Thanks,

Rodney

Im in rural Utah there are no clouds and there are small intensity lightning flashes without the Lightning occurring all around me. I can't find the source no matter where it moves. The mountainous region in which these are occurring is the same general area of the Chinese rocket debris that re entered the atmosphere approximately July 31st 2016. I've lived 37 years here, never witnessed anything like it in my life. Any current sightings would be great so I'll check back. Crazy # guys, take care and stay frosty! reply to: ThePeaceMaker

Flashes in the night sky, North of me. I live in south east Missouri. Last night (Aug 24th 2016)at about 11 pm, my wife and I noticed the flashes. To me they looked like artillery flash but no sound. For you non military, just watch any war movie ever and you could know what I mean. At first this put me on high alert, considering the current political and world climate (ie ww3).
With the absent of sound I am baffled. It was perfectly clear last night, not a cloud in the stary sky. I've considered a few of the fringe theories, such as HARP or Nabiru but I'm not quite ready to join the crazy yet. (no offense to crazy folk) thats ok none taken.
Boyd out.

hi, im from Auckland, New Zealand, about 30 minutes ago, i seen a blue flash of light that lit up the sky for a split second, my outside light dimmed, and i then followed a loud ... i wouldnt say bang... more like a loud deep bass kind of noise that came from nowhere. ive heard all sorts of noises and im very familiar with City noise. But this totally freaked me out!! to the point that i threw away my ciggy (smoke) and backed inside lol. i will go out and have another look later...maybe...for now, im just trying to come to terms with the fact that is not NORMAL at all.

I saw one about a month ago. I'm walking home from work at 7pm, March 17th in the South of England. I'm distracted by what looks like a flashbulb going off right at a point between Betelguese and other other star towards Aldebaran in Orion's belt constellation (bright white in the middle, fuzzy blue at the edges). It stayed bright for a good few second then faded. Looked like a firework in reverse as there was a faint red point that seemed to travel down to the middle of the line between Rigel and the other star at the bottom of the constellation. Wonder if it was a satellite flash or a meteorite?
