Add me to the list.
This past wednesday at around 9:45pm , my 25yo nephew came knocking on my bedroom door saying "You gotta see this". I was hesitant until he said
"lights in the sky".
I hopped up and walked outside and looked up but did not see anything.
But when my eyes focused and was able to see the stars, to the west just above the night clouds I saw a flash like someone was up there with a camera
flash, only different colors (red, blue, green). Then to the left another, and yet another.
All of these flashes were spread out and they were quick flashes. Sometimes, they would dim out quickly, and sometimes they would go out in the blink
of an eye. And these things were slowly moving to the west.
All in all because of my bad eye sight, I counted 5 or 6 seperate sources, but my 21yo son and my nephew said there we quite a bit of them out there.
My nephew described it as if there was glitter in the sky.
One of them (a red one) stayed lit long enough for me to see what I thought was an hourglass shape in the middle as it dimmed out.
My neighbor also came out and witnessed the event, but my 15yo daughter was too afraid to come out.
The whole thing lasted about 10 minutes, and all the while we were trying to take video with our phones but it was too far away and dark.
These lights looked like they trying to blend in with the stars, but they were really low and I could easily tell that they in our atmosphere.
I have been out with my camcorder looking for them since that night but nothing so far.
