Very strange - appears only the base itself has been "painted" into Google Earth...

No thats the actual base.Just must be a bad image.I got no idea what that building is though.The base has been taking on a major change since 2000 and suppose they are ripping out the old barracks and making brand new ones.There is a rumor they have a superconductor there.Don't know how true it is.I never seen one there.

N44.056907 W75.828154 is a location where to the left, google earth looks normal, but to the right, it has the paint by numbers look.
