Walther P99

Thinking about buying a handgun for a while now. With the way things have been going lately I think owning a weapon to protect yourself will be an absolute necessity. Did some surfing around and found the Walther P99, I like it and it seems to be a decent pistol. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Martial arts may be a less lethal way to protect yourself. It may be a long term commitment, however this will also sharpen other abilities. Owning a gun may attract danger.

also, 5ealchis is a ninja. Maybe he can be your body guard for an agreeable fee.

I am a ninja.
And I'd be glad to be a body gaurd if the pay is good engouh.

But back on topic.
I also know a bit about guns and if you want a gun for protection I'd suggest a revolver.
Revolvers have less moving parts so they dont really jam. And likelyness or not you'll probably wont need more than 6 shots for home defense.
